This research is been conducted to make people aware about use of renewable resources of energy and to promote the use of mahavitaran application and use of smart meters.It is necessary to know the importance of utilization of Renewable resources of energy as non renewable resources are getting depleted very fast.This study is an exploratory and descriptive approach for determining utilization of renewable resources of energy. It was found that most people did not use renewable source of energy and the most of the users utilizing renewable source of energy needed secondary source of energy. Also more than 50% users were aware of mahavitaran App and utilizing it and also more than 50% of the users had installed smart meter.From the derived interpretation from percentage and graph we suggest that more people should utilize solar energy as renewable source of energy as solar power is more radiant in pune area where as if needed people can utilize secondary source of energy in less amount.In terms of mahavitaran App and smart meter , as more people need to get acknowledged about their usage and advantage as so Mahavitaran should advertise and promote their products. Also in mahavitaran App due to less offers and slow update on system , more people are using other Apps instead of Mahavitaran App. Therefore mahavitaran should solve these issues as soon as possible.
