Abstract
Several methods can be approached to modify the physico-chemical properties of the drug. Here in this research work the designated supramolecularsynthon approach, with a strategy to exploit acid-amide and acid-chloride heterosynthons has been used to prepare Aceclofenac-Sodium Saccharin molecular complexes. The molecular complexes were prepared by solvent-drop grinding (ACF-SC-PVP), Mass analysis has been used to study the prepared molecular complexes. The results conclude the successful formation of the ACF- SC-PVP molecular complexes based on appearance of single DSC endothermic peak and changes observed in the vibrational frequencies associated with amide, acid and chloride groups of the reactants in FT-IR, proved to be effective diagnostic features to confirm the formation of molecular complexes. {\textcopyright} 2013 IEEE.
