This study introduces a novel technique for advanced image watermarking utilizing recently created nature motivated Firefly Algorithm (FA). The principal focus of this paper is to insert the imperceptible watermark (logo) image into the host image with the end goal that the strength of the image will be extended. In the proposed system, we used two strategies to implant the watermark. First is Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) with Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) and another is Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) with SVD. FA was discovered by Yang which is spurred by flickering behavior of fireflies. Thought behind the FA is firefly with less brightness will be pulled in towards the firefly with more brightness. Structural Similarity Index Measure (SSIM) is utilized to demonstrate the measure of robustness and invisibility of the watermarking scheme. © 2018 IEEE.
