The research is based on the " study of Gesture Recognition Technology " . Gesture Recognition Technology is mathematical interpretation of human gesture in computer science, using different computational devices to understand various gestures and do the appropriate action in a computer or any computational device. The study focuses on the user's interest towards gesture recognition technology, if they are willing to buy new technology to access gesture control and also the choice of implementation of those devices. I have used quantitative research methodology to get user's responses and have found that most users prefer using web cams as means of gesture recognition and also most respondent are not acceptable towards buying new hardware to avail gesture control. So according to my findings, I suggest developing software products to implement gesture recognition with already present hardware instead of buying new hardware technology.
