Technology is the means by which a tangible or intangible product or service is produced or offered in the market [1]. Every technology passes through definite stages. It is necessary to make the changes in technology to avoid it from decline stage. A tool called technology s-curve is used for extrapolative forecast of technological changes in the technology. It depends on the historical data of technology. A generic parameter related with the consumer utility is selected and it is plotted with time, which appears as s-shaped curve. The present paper describes s-curve for air conditioning technology. Eco-friendly refrigerant is considered as a generic parameter for forecasting.
