We present a sinusoidal single phase power clock generation method for low energy (adiabatic) circuits. In this paper radio frequency resonant DC-AC converter is proposed as power clock generator. We have also obtained square wave from RC oscillator consisting of cascaded NOT gates. This square wave and its inverted and delayed version are used as gate-drive signals for MOSFET switches those are used in the LC resonant circuit. A 2:1 MUX, implemented in Pass-transistor Adiabatic Logic (PAL) style, is operated from this power clock to illustrate power saving. It is observed that power dissipation of PAL 2:1 MUX is about 26 times lesser than that of conventional CMOS 2:1 MUX. If for 2:1 MUX, PAL logic is implemented in place of conventional CMOS logic, power saving per MUX that is achieved is about 96%. Also power dissipated in Power Clock is found to be equivalent to power dissipated in five CMOS 2:1 MUXs. 0.35$μ$m technology is used for obtaining simulation results. \textcopyright 2012 IEEE.

A vision-based driver assistance system using image processing technology consists of three main modules: road detection, traffic sign detection/identification, obstacle detection. Traffic Sign Recognition is an upcoming research field under applied Computer Vision and Machine Learning which deals with the automatic detection and classification of traffic signs in traffic scene images. In the current paper, we discuss the methodology used to detect the road sign from a traffic sign scene image and present a technique that can be used to construct a system that recognizes road signs in images. Such a system will ensure that each driver is aware of the rules &amp; hazards on the road &amp; will thus help in improving road safety. Also, the location of the road sign in the traffic sign image is unknown. Once these obstacles are overcome, such a system could be integrated in a Driver Assistance System. The primary objective is to develop an algorithm, which will identify various types of road signs from streaming video of real time road scenes in a reasonable time frame. The algorithm has two main parts: the first one, detection which uses the color and shape information to detect a road sign in a traffic scene picture. The second one, prediction &amp; classification based on Neural Network concept. Our algorithm proposes a variety of MATLAB Image Processing Toolbox commands to determine if a road sign is present in current image. If present, the sign is resized and certain features from the Region of Interest (RoI) are fed as a feature vector to a neural net. This trained Neural Classifier then predicts the class of the road sign. Genetic Algorithms (GA) with built-in intelligence could be incorporated into the current system which will try to look for traffic signs only in environments where there is probability of finding/ detecting one. Neural network based smart vision system for driver assistance in extracting traffic signposts

With the advent of low cost Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA's), building special purpose hardware for computationally intensive applications has now become possible. Cryptanalysis of block ciphers involves massive computations which are independent of each other and can be instantiated simultaneously so that the solution space is explored at a faster rate. This paper presents the design for Hardware implementation of Data Encryption Standard (DES) cryptanalysis on FPGA using exhaustive key search. Two architectures viz. Iterative and Loop unrolled DES architecture are implemented. The aim of this work is to make cryptanalysis faster and better. © 2012 IEEE.

Design and implementation of algorithm for DES cryptanalysis

Association rule mining is used to uncover closely related item sets in transactions for deciding business policies. Apriori algorithm is widely adopted is association rule mining for generating closely related item sets. Traditional apriori algorithm is space and time consuming since it requires repeated scanning of whole transaction database. In this paper we propose improved apriori algorithm based on compressed transaction database. Transaction database is compressed based on the consequence of interest. © 2012 IEEE.

Recent literature has demonstrated that on a laboratory scale photocatalysis technology to destroy organic pollutants completely present in water has got great potential. In this paper, a new reactor design simulation of reactor (considering thermal analysis) has been carried out using SolidWorks software. The SolidWorks CAD software is a mechanical design automation application that lets designers quickly sketch out ideas, experiment with features and dimensions, and produce models, simulation and detailed drawings. The operating condition of reactor i.e temperature (min. 25°C and max. 80°C) and 1 atm. pressure. As result shows that, the design of reactor is feasible. A reactor was designed and constructed based on the modelling results, and when experiments were conducted showed very promising results. The new reactor aims at developing a technical solution to the design of a commercial scale photocatalytic reactor.
