An experienced teacher with a very diverse industry experience of over two decades. Worked as Director at Institute of Management and Research (IMDR) for four years, and as Director Academics at DITM, Bharti Vidyapeeth Deemed University.
Ajay is an entrepreneur turned academician, who has broad-based experience in industry and academics of 40+ years. His currently a Professor and Area Chair of Economics & International Business with MIT School of Management (PG), and teaches courses in Strategy and Global Business.

Earlier, he was a Director at Pune’s oldest, nationally recognized B-School, Institute of Management Development & Research (IMDR), Pune, and Director Academics, at Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University – Department of Information Technology and Management.


Prior to joining academics, he was an entrepreneur and ran a MSME specialized in the manufacture of special-purpose machines and customized material handling solutions. He has extensive experience of the Automobile, Engineering, and Agro – Equipment Industries.

He is an OD consultant, a competency mapping consultant, and a trained BEI interviewer, and has conducted assessments of over 1500 candidates.

Since 2005, he works as a Corporate Trainer and has conducted training mainly in cross-cultural management, export operations, and soft-skill training across India

He is a Post Graduate in Management in International Business from the prestigious Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi
