She has completed her B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from S.K. Acharya Institute of Law, Kalyani University in 2009, her M.A. in Criminology and Police Administration from Madurai Kamaraj University in 2011 and her Master of Laws from Mahatma Gandhi University in 2012, specializing in Criminal Law. She also has an additional LL.M degree from Global Open University. She is currently pursuing her PhD from Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune in the area of Criminal Law. She has worked as a Criminal Lawyer for 4 years at the Calcutta High Court. Prior to joining MIT-WPU, she has worked as a Visiting Faculty at leading Law and Business Institutes in Pune such as D.Y Patil Institute of Management Studies, Sri Balaji Society, Indus Business School, Indira College of Commerce, and D.Y. Patil University. She has expertise in Criminal Law and has published research papers in reputed journals on topics such as ‘Offences against Women’ and ‘Laws to prevent Acid attacks’.
