Dr. Gautam Bapat started working as Assistant Professor at MITSOM College, Pune since year 2008, and now with newly transformed MIT World Peace University's School of Business.

His expertise in the field of Academics, Industry and Consultancy are remarkable. He is Ex-Managing Director of ERiS InfoTech Pvt. Ltd., A company working in the field of Computer Software Development & Consultancy.

He holds a Masters Degree in Computer Application (MCA - Science) and Bachelors Degree in Zoology from Fergusson College, Pune. Subsequently he has also completed Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) with Marketing Specialization. Also, Prof. Gautam Bapat stood top of the chart in his fourth degree which is Master of Management Studies (MMS) in Marketing Specialization. He holds a Ph. D. in the field of Strategic Marketing (General Management).

His teaching experience in the field of Computer Science & Application and Management spans a wide range. His primary area of interest is Research. He was also a Member of Ad-hoc Board of Studies for BBA(CA) at Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), Member of Board of Studies for Under Graduate Management Programs at MIT World Peace University.
