Dr. Pankaj Dhatrak is an accomplished Assistant Professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering at MIT-World Peace University, Pune, India. With a PhD in Biomechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University, he has a strong background in Finite Element Analysis of Automotive components, Biomechanics, Biomaterials, and their applications. He has over 5 years of industrial experience in vibration and fatigue analysis of various automotive components using different CAE tools, along with more than 15 years of academic experience teaching UG/PG students. Dr. Dhatrak is an author of over 45+ peer-reviewed research articles and book chapters in reputed Journal and Conference Proceedings. Recently, he has been actively involved in designing and developing biomedical devices. He has served as a Technical Advisory Committee Member for 5+ International conferences and has reviewed manuscripts for over 5+ reputable peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Dhatrak is a Life member of Indian Society of Technical Education (ISTE) and Society of Automotive Engineering (SAE-India Western Section), and his research interests span across Biomedical research in Dentistry, integration of Mechanical Engineering for varied Biomechanical applications, and more.
