For deaf persons it is very difficult to establish a communication, by using Hearing Aid System it becomes possible. But the Hearing Aid which are available in the market are having many issues like heavy weight, more power consumption, voice with less clarity, delay in receiving the signal, cost, stigma associated with wearing the hearing aid system etc. To overcome mentioned problems and to help the deaf people we have designed the filter bank with variable bandwidth (VBF) which can be used in hearing aid system to improve the performance by reducing the hardware, by removing the noise, also by improving the speech quality and reducing the delay. The developed filter bank is implemented using MATLAB, audiograms of different patients and achieved better performance by reducing unwanted noise and increasing the speech intelligibility finally the attained performance of developed filter is contrast with the subsist filter banks in the parameters like consumption of power, matching error, and delay in processing, to check the performance of developed filter © 2022 IEEE.

Audiogram Study in Filter Bank Used for Hearing Aid System to Enhance the Performance

The hearing aid system is used for hearing impair patient communication, but the hearing aid's main issues are improper communication, power dissipation, delay, matching error, and low complexity. Many existing filter bank techniques are developed to overcome these issues but still have the problem of delay, unwanted noise, etc. This paper has designed a Tuned Feed forward Variable Bandwidth Filter (TFVBF) to enhance the Hearing Aid System (HAS) by reducing unwanted noise, matching error, and complexity. Moreover, the developed technique is implemented in MATLAB and it achieve low rate in power consumption and delay. Thus, the gained performance metrics has enhanced the HAS's performance by reducing, unwanted noise, matching error, and complexity. Finally, the attained performance metrics of the developed technique using 50 bands are compared with existing replicas in terms of matching error, delay, power consumption, and complexity for checking the effectiveness of developed replica.&nbsp;

Abstract - A hearing aid is a device that sits in or behind the wearer's ear and is designed to modulate and amplify the sound for the wearer. Devices which were used earlier were called eаr trumpets or eаr horns, were раssive funnellike cones which amplified sound and were designed to collect sound and direct it into the eаr canal. The SIG oversees the develорment оf the sрeсifiсаtiоn, mаnаges the рrоgrаm which qualifies аnd рrоteсts the trаdemаrks. To be marketed as a Bluetooth device, it must be qualified according to the SIG's standards. The teсhnоlоgy necessitates a network of patents, which are only liсensed for those deviсes which qualify; hence, the рrоtосоl mаy be regаrded as рrоprietаry.

Design and Development of Hearing Aid System

The human ear is a very delicate, sensitive and complex organ. Woefully, any damage to the ear, whether through any disease, injuries, revelation to extreme loud noise, some medicines or may be the effects of old aging, can cause the ear to damage or glitch. Approximately 467 million people in the whole world are suffering from hearing loss and 34 million of these are kids, but only few people out of this statistic use the hearing aid. The drawbacks and disgrace associated with wearing a hearing aid due to large size, patient's dissatisfaction with the performance of hearing aid, the cost and the life of battery. Considering present hearing impairment all over the India as well as world, it is very much necessary to explore new technology and idea to satisfy the need of deaf people in the society.This paper explains the concept of various audiograms for speech processing in hearing aid, various algorithm for impedance matching, various techniques for filter bank signal processing algorithm using Fast Fourier Transform and Wavelet transform and echo cancellation techniques [5] that have low complexity in terms of hardware, a lesser power dissipation, consumes lesser area, so that the total power dissipation consumption and area and size of the hearing aid can be minimized and will also enhance speech Intelligibility by using suitable filter. © 2019 IEEE.

With advancement of technologies the cost of renewable energy equipment is going down globally encouraging large scale solar plant installations. This massive scale of solar system deployment requires sophisticated systems for automation of the plant monitoring remotely using web based interfaces as majority of them are installed in inaccessible locations and thus unable to be monitored from a dedicated location. The Project is based on implementation of new cost effective methodology based on IoT to remotely monitoring a solar plant for performance evaluation. This will facilitate preventive maintenance, fault detection of the plant in addition to real time monitoring.

Abstract— Ear of a human is exceedingly subtle, sympathetic and tangled organ. regrettably any harm to the ear, due to any illness, accidental injury, extreme loudly environment, some drugs or because of aging, can affect the ear to permanent damage or disability. Approximately 432 million (93%) of these are adults (242 million males, 190 million females) 34 million (7%)[3] of these are children. one-third of persons over 65 years are affected by disabling hearing loss but only few people out of this statistic use the hearing aid. Downside the ignominy associated with wearing a hearing aid due to huge size, person’s disappointment with the response of hearing aid, the cost and the battery life. At hand considering hearing impairment all over the world, it is very much obligatory to traverse new technology and idea to satisfy the need of deaf people in the society. This paper explains a detail study of deaf person’s audiogram this information can be used to process speech in digital hearing aid, we can select a filter bandwidth which is used incustomizing the hearing aid system for particular person, itcan also be used to enhance the speech quality. It also gives detail concept of different audiograms for filter used in speechprocessing in hearing aid , various filtering techniques for filter bank.
