Umesh Raut is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Engineering and Technology of Dr. Vishwanath Karad, MIT World Peace University, Pune (MIT Pune is now called MIT World Peace University Pune) since 30th December 2002. He is graduated in Computer Science and Engineering from Govt. College of Engineering, Amravati in 2000 and did ME (Computer Engineering) from Govt. College of Engineering, Pune.
He is a dedicated, passionate professor of undergraduate level students for over 18 years. As a faculty advisor of MIT Computer User Group (MCUG), conducted and advised various seminars and workshops throughout the year for better curriculum development of students since 2011. Under MIT Computer Cultural Group (MCCG), he has given a platform to students to showcase their talents in acting, dancing, and signing other than studies. He is a coordinator of the National Study Tour of B. Tech (SCET) students. He was involved in the admission process of MIT-WPU and was in charge of Social media marketing for the same.
Accomplished researcher, he published papers in various national and international journals. He is a co-author of the Computer Network book of Technical Publications. Involved in course team activities in the school and participated in the syllabus revision (or setting) workshop of M. Tech and B. Tech.
He also has been providing mentoring, advice, and support to students on a personal level.
