Efforts to enhance road security have been under way for a long time and majorly affected the road safety record. Auto Vehicle Speed Control System-The Review

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease and a health challenge worldwide. According to the International Diabetes Federation, 451 million people across the globe have diabetes, with this number anticipated to rise up to 693 million people by 2045. It has been shown that 80% of the complications arising from type II diabetes can be prevented or delayed by early identification of the people who are at risk. Diabetes is difficult to diagnose in the early stages as its symptoms grow subtly and gradually. In a majority of the cases, the patients remain undiagnosed until they are admitted for a heart attack or begin to lose their sight. This paper analyzes the different classification algorithms based on a patient's health history to aid doctors identify the presence of as well as promote early diagnosis and treatment. The experiments were conducted on Pima Indian Diabetes data set. Various classifiers used include K Nearest Neighbors, Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, Support Vector Machine and Neural Network. Results demonstrate that Random Forests performed well on the data set giving an accuracy of 79.7%.

Analysis of Classifiers for Prediction of Type II Diabetes Mellitus

In this project, we have used different algorithms for detection and extraction of five facial features, i.e. hairline, smile line, skin, wrinkle and melanocytes. These actions were performed using image processing software services and were stored in a cloud platform so that users can periodically browse the changes in these facial features. Chinese medical doctors could also check the features and give some suggestion/comment for patients via internet. © 2018 IEEE.

Facial Features and its Importance in Chinese Physiognomy

Mobile grid (MG) is emergi ng as a new computing paradigm due to the ubiquitous availability of mobile devices. With the advancement in the capability of these devices, computationally intensive tasks can be executed using a peer-to-peer grid of such devices. MG can provide an edifice to execute parallel computationally intensive tasks. Key challenges that crop up while computing on a MG are resource constrained environment, inefficient resource allocation, high failure probability, etc. As a result, selection of appropriate nodes for task execution becomes critical for successful execution of the application. In this paper, we propose an efficient resource allocation model (ERAM) which provides resource allocation with failure handling. We created a MG comprising of Wi-Fi Direct connected Android smartphones. Different scenarios are considered for the purpose of experimentation. Our approach performs well with respect to application completion time, % battery consumption and recovery time from failure in comparison with existing techniques.

Efficient Resource Allocation scheme for on-the-fly computing based Mobile Grids

The following paper provides an introduction to analysis and design of a complementary cross-coupled LC-VCO as used in RF transmitter/receiver circuits. Different design parameters have been discussed along with their associated equations, to allow for basic on-paper calculations. The values of corresponding components are used in verification of the design via CAD simulation. The main goal is to synthesize a low-power low-noise design with a wide bandwidth of operation (tuning range). © 2018, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Design and analysis of VCO for parameter optimization

In recent years, lots of research have been done in computer vision domain. Video surveillance in real-time scenario, especially for humans, like tracking and behavior analysis is one of the most active research topics in computer vision and artificial intelligence in present situation. The main focus is providing the low-cost and efficient video surveillance system for home application and can have wide scope in other areas such as elevator monitoring and server room monitoring. As the traditional surveillance system requires huge storage capacity and consumes lot of network bandwidth, hence it becomes necessary to provide solution for such design issues. This paper presents the implementation of motion detection algorithm for live camera streaming and thus allows analyzing incoming image stream, and recognizing any movement occurs in the area and if so then triggers video recorder to save the information-contained video clip. © 2018, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
