In urban areas the water supply to residence and commercial establishments are provided at a fixed flow rate. There are incidents of excess water drawn by certain customers/users by connecting motor-pump sets to the waterlines which is considered as water theft. In this project it is proposed to develop an embedded based remote water monitoring and theft prevention system by recording the flow rates at the consumer/user end. In order to implement the proposed water supply system, each consumer should be provided with an embedded based water flow monitoring system consisting of a microcontroller to record the flow rate using a flow sensor and to transmit the same to a remote monitoring station using wireless transmitter and it is also provided with an electrically operated solenoid valve to supply water to the consumers. The valve turns on/off to stop the water supply whenever the flow rate exceed a predefined limit. The solenoid valves are also controlled using real time clock to control flow of water accordingly for a fixed duration of time. It is proposed to employ a gsm modem for wireless communication so that the information can be passed to particular responsible officer‟s cell phone for immediate action.One of the world's major problems is the scarcity of water, mainly due to the unmeasured consumption and the waste of this vital element. This project describes a modular water system, which helps not only in monitoring consumption but also in finding water pollution. In the past water resources were very limited & nobody can afford its wastage. For managing and providing water so many workers were required. Also to switch on valve & distribute water bill by going to home so many workers were required. To overcome this problem we have decided to work on automatic water management using microcontroller (atmega 328p). Also this project deals with problem of distributing water bill in different area by going to every user’s home. We have decided to use GSM module for communication. In this project we will make a PYTHON based management software which will handle user account details.

Image and video retrieval by their semantic content has been animportant and challenging task for years, because it ultimately requires bridgingthe symbolic/subsymbolic gap. Recent successes in deep learning enableddetection of objects belonging to many classes greatly outperforming traditionalcomputer vision techniques. However, deep learning solutions capable ofexecuting retrieval queries are still not available. We propose a hybrid solutionconsisting of a deep neural network for object detection and a cognitivearchitecture for query execution. Specifically, we use YOLOv2 and OpenCog.Queries allowing the retrieval of video frames containing objects of specifiedclasses and specified spatial arrangement are implemented.

Internet plays an important role in today’s life; maximum data transformation took place over the internet. Information stored in the digital format can be easily copied without the loss of quality and efficiently distributed. To solve the problem occurred in digital format we introduced the concept of digital watermarking. Digital watermarking is the branch of information hiding. This paper used a technique of embedding a watermark into video frames, which is the enhancement of digital watermarking. This paper helps in increasing the robustness in videos against various attacks by using wavelet transformation methods.

Provide Protection and Copyright for Video Data Using Watermarking

In central receiver system, a large group of field is used to concentrated solar radiation from the sun on a towermounted heat exchanger (receiver) called heliostat field. Each heliostat continuously track the sunray by two axes sun tracking mechanism that reflect the incident sun radiation to a flat receiver located at top of the tower.The height of tower receiveris generally about 1/6th the length of the farthest heliostat in the field. A flat plate receiver was experimentally evaluate by solar central receiver system in order to study the change of receiver surface temperature and flux density distribution on the receiver plate.The solar flux distribution at focal region of concentrator system can be estimated, if the temperature on focal region is measured. The receiver surface temperature can be change with change in intensity of beam radiation, concentration ratio, ambient temperature and wind speed.Thermocouple methodconsidered to estimate flux distribution on receiver surface. The analysis of variation in temperature on the vertical receiver plate is done by varying the number of heliostats from 1 to 9. The maximum temperature obtained from 9 heliostats is around 231 ̊C near the solar noon. The heliostats can be focus on the vertical and inclined receiver surface, its seen that minimum spread of reflected radiation with minimum end loss from the periphery of the receiver is obtained by 15̊tilt angle.For the small central receiver system of 9 heliostats the peak flux value is found for vertical receiver (zero degree tilt angle) is around 5352W/m2 and in case of 15̊tilt angle peak flux is 5792 W/m2. .The modeling and experimental testing result showed that the both the concentrated solar power result lie in the range of 2025 W.

Analysis of Temperature and Solar Flux Distribution on the Flat Plate Receiver of Small Central Receiver System

Automatic recognition of musical patterns plays a crucial part in Musicological research and can become an indispensable tool for the search and comparison of music extracts within a large multimedia database. In today’s life musical band performer requires conductor for the musical performance. Based on this study we present an efficient way for recognition isolated musical patterns in a monophonic environment, using of Dynamic Time Warping a probabilistic framework.In this automatic recognize hand gestures pattern for the musical performance by using the RGB-D Camera. Each pattern, to be recognized, is converted into a sequence of frequency jumps by means of a Dynamic Time Warping. The important Characteristic of Context Dependent Dynamic Time Warping is that it exploits the correlation without using local point. Other is context of Traditional Music, which exhibits certain characteristics that make the classification task easy and accuracy is evaluated over the existing approaches.

Survey on Music Conducting Gestures using Dynamic Time Warping

The recent spurt in Android devices has given rise to the development of millions of Android applications. Hence there is a need for rapid and efficient testing techniques to satiate the global app demand. Hence the paper proposes an automated testing framework by deployment testing practices on the cloud. Android devices could be tested by connecting them through wired or wireless connections. This framework can be addressed as Android Testing as a Service (ATaaS) which assists in carrying out functional testing, performance testing etc. The paper also demonstrates the use of a MAT tool to carryout automated testing, the results of which can be compared to conventional testing practices. It also gives us a gist of virtualization. Hence Cloud Testing Platform (CTP) aims at providing all the conventional testing practices at higher speed, availability and lower cost of testing these applications and the limited resources available in mobile devices.. Developers can conduct compatibility tests in various Android devices only by uploading test programs and scripts to cloud testing platforms.

Water is an important natural resource in our life. Quality of water needs to bemonitor in real time in order to ensure safe and clean supply of drinking water.For that purpose IOT (Internet of Things) based water monitoring systemssuch as tank water level sensing monitoring and water pollution monitoringhas been proposed. This paper describes design of IOT based water qualitymonitoring system, with the objective of notifying the user of the real- timewater quality parameters. The system measures physical and chemicalparameters of water quality such as pH, level, turbidity, temperature andhumidity. This parameter detects water contaminants. The measured valuesfrom the sensors are processed by ESP8266 Wemos d1 mini and theseprocessed values are transmitted remotely to the raspberry pi via Wi-Fi andmake the raspberry Pi display the data on a simple graphical interface overdifferent time periods.

Water quality monitoring system for water tanks of housing society

Question and Answering (QA) systems are referred as virtual assistants and are envisioned to be the next generation call center. However the accuracy of such QA systems is not as desirable and needs significant enhancement. Understanding the intent of the query is a significant contributor to an efficient system which has not been often analyzed. The current study intends to develop a QA system which can understand the query intent by using NLP based classification along with a novel scoring mechanism to extract the related information. Initially an insurance domain based simple frequently asked QA system was developed, which was then operationally enhanced into a system that can answer any type of insurance related query. The system was tested with 200 different queries and the output was cross validated by 3 experts from insurance field
