In this paper, points discussed are efficient ways to analyze stress using Neurosky Sensor and also to examine data from smart phones in order measure stress of an individual.

Identity and Access Management is important in today’s evolving world. It is the process of managing who has access to what information over time. Activity of IAM involves creation of identities for user and system. Secure user access plays a key role in the exchange of data and information. In addition, electronic data is becoming ever more valuable for most companies. Access protection must therefore meet increasingly strict requirements – an issue that is often solved by introducing strong authentication. Identity and the Access are two very important concept of the IAM which are needed to be managed by the company. Companies are now relying more on the automated tool which can manage all these things. But then it creates the risk. Because tools are not intelligent enough to take the decisions, so we can add the intelligence by using the various data mining algorithm. This can keep the data over time and then build the models. This paper covers all the challenges associated with the Identity and Access Management. The possible solution is given for these challenges.

Identity and access management: concept, challenges, solutions

A compact multiband pattern diversity antenna for Multiple input multiple output (MIMO) applications is being proposed. The pattern diversity antenna is designed for 2.6 GHz LTE, 3.5/5.5 GHz WiMax, 3.3 GHz MIMO and 5.2 GHz WLAN applications for mobile devices. The compact size of the MIMO antenna (41.05 × 21.1 mm) is due to having compact individual monopole antennas each of dimension 17.5 × 10 mm. A T-shaped and inverted L-shaped stub in the ground plane reduces mutual coupling due to near field whereas slots introduced in the ground plane prevents current to flow through the common ground plane. The important characteristics of MIMO antenna like diversity gain and envelope correlation coefficient have also been presented. Measured and simulated radiation patterns presented show that the MIMO antenna proposed provide pattern diversity.

Design of compact multiband pattern diversity antenna for WiMax, LTE and WLAN applications

Number of laboratory studies; have shown that geosynthetics reinforcement improves the performance of flexible pavement either by ex-tending the service life or by savings in base course thickness. In spite of the good laboratory evidence for the geosynthetics reinforced flexible pavement, the mechanism that enables and governs the reinforcement function is still unclear [1]. Cyclic laboratory test has been one of the ways, used for assessing/evaluating the soil-geosynthetic interaction mechanisms. In such a tests contribution of geosynthetics prop-erties, interface shear provided by geotextiles and interlocking provided by geogrids when used under or within the base course of flexible pavement are mainly concentrated. This paper reviews literature of laboratory model studies carried out by various researchers over the globe. This review indicates that, appreciable improvement due to geosynthetics reinforcement depends upon various factors viz. location of geosynthetics, geogrid aperture size, geosynthetics properties, mainly stiffness, variation of base course thickness and strength of subgrade soil. The findings of these laboratory studies are also correlated with the same nature of field studies finding.

Geosynthetics reinforced flexible pavement-Review of laboratory studies

Nadi-parikshan, is an important Wrist Pulse based method of diagnosis in the traditional and effective medical system of Ayurveda. Wrist Pulse signals contain some crucial information about the health of a person and hence diagnosis based on Pulse signals has importance. According to the Ayurvedic science, our mind-body constitution or dosha is determined at the time of conception. Thus, we are each born with a distinct combination of the Vatta, Pitta, and Kapha doshas that remains as it is throughout your life. This is known as Prakruti. The balance of all these doshas and the Prakruti play a vital role in the social life. The paper proposes a framework to predict the Pulse after performing Surya Namaskar for people of different Prakruti at different Prahars (Morning, Afternoon or Evening). The identification of Prakruti of a person will be done using a questionnaire. Recording of the Wrist Pulse signals before and after performing Surya Namaskar at different times of the day or Prahar (Morning, Afternoon and Evening) form the dataset. The variations occurring in the Pulse signals shall be determined by processing the signals and these changes will be used as knowledge for our Machine Learning algorithm. This will be further used to predict the Pulse after performing Surya Namaskar and determining its effect on our daily life cycle. © 2017 IEEE.

A proposed framework for prediction of pulse, based on the effect of surya namaskar on different prakruti at different prahars of the day

Now a day, the mass events like political rallies, musical concerts, sports matches, school gathering and pilgrimage become an issue of the public security. So, Management of crowd at public places becomes a big issue. Crowd congestion prevents the smooth flow of the crowd and causes the unsafe condition; thereby causing many people lost their life. So, it is important to overcome such situation to provide the safety on time. It can be achieved by using the video monitoring device footage along with optical flow and standard deviation model to detect the crowd congestion and providing warning for managing the crowd. Higher the congestion level higher is the risk of life and occurrences of uncertainty. Based on the level of congestion and movement it is possible to predict the future flow of crowd in that direction. © 2016 IEEE.

Motion detection using optical flow and standard deviation

In the present work, different ventilated disc brake rotor configurations were analysed to enhance the heat transfer rate and obtain the uniform temperature distribution in the rotor. CFD code used in this work was validated at using experimental results obtained by conducting experiments on a test rig. The experimental analysis was performed to calculate the mass flow rate and heat dissipation through the rotor. Further, different types of rotor configurations viz. straight radial vane (SRV), tapered radial vane (TRV), alternate long and short vane (ALSV), variable diameter circular pillars (VDCP) were considered for the analysis. A rotor segment of 20° was considered for the numerical analysis due to its rotational symmetry. CFD results were in good agreement with the experiments. The maximum deviation of the numerical results were about 12 % from the experimental results. It is found from the analysis that among the different types of rotor configurations; variable diameter circular pillars (VDCP) rotor gives better rate of heat dissipation with more uniform temperature distribution in the flow passages. Hence for modern high speed vehicles VDCP rotor may be more appropriate. © 2017, The Korean Society of Automotive Engineers and Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.

Experimental investigation using CFD for thermal performance of ventilated disc brake rotor

The world is facing serious issue of environmental pollution and warming. Also, crude oil can become rare and faces severe shortfall within the close to future. Hence, this offers rise to researchers to seek out different fuel sources as alternate energy sources. Biodiesel is the fuel that has been thought of the best substitution for petroleum-diesel fuel as a result of it may be employed in any diesel-engine without any need of modification. Biodiesel is that the renewable fuel and additionally it's having sensible exhaust emissions as compare to diesel. Jatropha biodiesel, palm biodiesel and Calophyllum Inophyllum biodiesel falls within standard quality limits, hence they may be used as the alternative to diesel oil. The performance and exhaust emissions of Jatropha, palm and Calophyllum Inophyllum biodiesel are reviewed in this paper. Among the numerous biofuels available, vegetable oil is foremost economical in case of farmland usage, potency and productivity as it is the crop having oil carrying tendency. The problem associated with edible-vegetable biodiesel is that there's competition among oil as source of fuel or food. This makes edible oil not a perfect feedstock for production of biodiesel. Hence, more consideration is towards different non- edible oils like Jatropha oil, Calophyllum Inophyllum oil. Calophyllum Inophyllum oil may be being thought of as a possible fuel by following transesterification. However in comparison with Jatropha and vegetable oil biodiesel productions, biodiesel from Calophyllum Inophyllum continues to be in an exceedingly analysis state. Hence, long analysis and experimental studies got to be dole out previously considering this oil primarily based biodiesel as an alternate fuel to crude diesel. Keywords:

Comparison of Performance and Exhaust Emissions of Jatropha, Palm and Calophyllum Inophyllum Biodiesel: A Review - Inpressco

Electrocardiogram (ECG) is a non-stationary signal which constitutes a lineal recording that provides an insight into heart's electrical activity. Because Cardio Vascular diseases (CVD) are numbered one as reason of mortality globally, detection of abnormalities in ECG at an early stage is crucial for diagnosis and accordingly the treatment. A system can help the cardiologists in diagnosing the arrhythmia present in a patient. The proposed architecture uses Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) with the input preprocessed with subtractive clustering method to learn fuzzy logic. Five morphological and five statistical ECG features are utilized to determine if the patient's heartbeats are normal or irregular and classify them accordingly. During statistical feature extraction, Principal Component Analysis (PCA) on detail coefficients is implemented for optimization. For classification, four classes of ECG are considered, Left Bundle Branch Block (LBBB), normal, Atrial Premature Contraction (APC) and Paced Beats (PB). The proposed system gives an overall classification accuracy of 97.75%. The overall sensitivity, average specificity and average false prediction ratio obtained are 0.9775, 0.9925 and 0.0075 respectively. © 2017 IEEE.
