Traditional heat transfer liquids show very fewer thermal characteristics. Consequently, there is truly expanding request to foster liquids having excessive thermal characteristics. Thermo-liquid characteristics assume a crucial part in the refinement of such high heat transfer proficient gadgets. A nano liquid is an involvement of nano estimated particles be made of oxides, metals in a base liquid of oil, water, distilled water, or ethylene glycol of size up to 100 nm. As of late enormous quantities of analyses have been are done to assess the impact of nano liquid in rate of heat transfer improvement in different heat exchangers. The amplification of heat transfer utilizing nano liquid for the most part relies upon sort of nano molecules, state of nano molecules, kind of foundation liquid and concentration of nano molecules in the foundation liquid. In the current study, CFD assessment has been completed to decide the impact of different concentration of CuO nano molecules blended in distilled water on heat transfer attributes of shell and tube heat exchanger for counterflow positioning. CuO nano liquid of volume concentration 0.01% and 0.02% are prepared theoretically. The end inferred for the research is that coefficient of overall heat transfer and rate of overall heat transfer increments with expansion in CuO nano molecules volume concentration contrasted with distilled water. © 2022

CFD investigation on heat transfer enhancement in shell and tube heat exchanger using copper oxide nano liquid

The solar central receiver is the most crucial part of a solar tower power plant (CSP). In this study, a computational fluid dynamics (CFD) framework was used for analysing four circular designs (with same surface area and mass flow rate of heat transfer fluid) of the central tower receiver. In this study, a computational fluid dynamics (CFD) framework was developed for analyzing four circular (stain steel) designs of the central tower receiver, namely, a circular constant tube diameter (CCD), a circular vertical constant tube diameter solar receiver (CUTD), a circular variable tube diameter (CVTD) receiver and a leaf type circular solar receiver (LTSR). This analysis studied the solar radiation heat transfer efficiency, temperature distribution, and fluid outlet temperature; pressure and velocity distributions for the designs using CFD. It was found that the LTSR design helped achieve a higher rise in temperature of the heat transfer fluid (HTF) when the mass flow rate was in the range of 0.1 to 0.2 liter per minute. The LSTR model of circular receiver was more efficient in heat transfer circular receiver designs compared with other circular designs for same surface area and strength of solar beam irradiations. © 2022 International Information and Engineering Technology Association. Numerical Analysis of Concentrated Beam Solar Circular Receivers

This paper highlights on acoustic performance analysis of different types of reactivemufflers. The performance of the muffler is measured in terms of insertion loss(IL), transmissionloss (TL), leveldifference (LD)or noise reduction (NR). The transmission loss (TL) is one of the important parametermostly used for acoustic performance analysis of muffler. The transmission loss of the muffler is determined with incident power by decomposition theory and transmitted power by plane wave approximation assuming anechoic termination. The exhaust noise generated by the vehicle must be within limit as prescribed by pollution control board norms to meet the customer expectations. The exhaust system noise makes a huge contribution to the exterior noise. To attenuate the noise generated from the vehicle different types of reactive muffler are used as per target frequency of engine.This paper presents a review on the acoustic performance of reactive muffler with simple expansion chamber-circular, elliptical&rectangular cross section, muffler with Extended Inlet and Extended outlet, conicalmuffler, muffler with perforated pipe, muffler with baffle plate, Plug muffler, Split stream rushing muffler and muffler with corrugated pipe. © 2022

A review on acoustic performance analysis of reactive muffler

Human activity detection has become a prime research area in computer vision problem. There are many applications where human activity detection can be incorporated such as analyzing the video data which will help to monitor data generated by closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras. In this paper, a system is proposed which uses convolutional neural network along with incremental learning to detect different type human activities in videos. The proposed system is evaluated on benchmark dataset, KTH dataset. © 2022 IEEE.
