There has been a surge in innovations in recent years, which have improved healthcare and facilitated rapid and safe recovery. It is essential that today's technology be functional and user-friendly. During treatment, drugs are delivered via the infusion pump, which controls and regulates fluid administration. Pump exploitation is common among hospitals to administer critical fluids, including high-risk medications. A variety of infusion pumps are available, including ambulatory pumps, large volume pumps and patient-controlled analgesia systems. Electronics in modern infusion pumps, such as LCD displays, consume a lot of power, resulting in shorter battery life. As a result of large displays and user interfaces, the dimensions of the system increase, leading to a bulkier device. In such pumps, patients records and pump data are difficult to manage after a certain point because of the limited chip area and no database connectivity. Project seeks to develop an infusion pump that provides remote monitoring and control capabilities for patients and doctors through IOT-based monitoring and control platforms. This project's primary goal is to eliminate and replace power-hungry components from the existing system and convert it into an IOT device that can be monitored and controlled via an Android smartphone while keeping cost and the device power consumption low. © 2022 IEEE.

Documents containing biomedical information come in a variety of formats. Clinical, research doctors and researchers can use biomedical literature to assess the most recent achievements in a field of study to generate and validate new theories, conduct experiments, and analyze the results. Medical records are difficult to analyze since they are normally presented in plain text, have a very particular technical language, and are almost always unstructured. Due to the ongoing increase of online text resources Document summarization offers a plethora of applications in data extraction and web search. We have done a survey of automatic text summarization techniques. Considering the existing research gaps, we have proposed a model which utilizes BERT and Group Average Linkage clustering on articles taken from PubMed. This work would be helpful for people in the biomedical domain by summarizing huge biomedical texts. It would provide a brief summary by condensing the information in a nutshell, thus saving time. © 2022 IEEE.

Extensive Study of Automatic Text Summarization on Biomedical Texts

Produced water is a complex mixture of organic and inorganic compounds. In this research paper, the output is not theoretical as the work is implemented in the field to bring the produced water generated from the pay zone into a desirable range. The produced water from the pay zone is challenging as well as plays a crucial role in the oil and gas industry. The produced water contains many impurities which are not desirable for injection into the well to bring them into a desirable range study of Physico-chemical parameters and biological parameters of the raw effluent has been done experimentally. The water produced was treated effectively under suitable methods and filters viz, coagulation and flocculation by optimizing dose as per requirement, and various filtration techniques like selective filtration, series filtration, and cerini filtration. The fluid compatibility test was carried out to determine the scale and corrosion and to check the permeability retention of the XZ formation to make treated effluent water fit for injection. The treatment design was implemented properly to achieve desirable parameters for a desirable range. © 2022 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

Optimizing produced water quality for enhancing oil recovery

Traffic congestion has become a major issue nowadays. Not only in metro cities even in small cities this traffic congestion is a big problem. Therefore, we have required an intelligent traffic control system that can decrease traffic. Our current traffic control system is not flexible and adaptable, and it is time-based and is unaffected by heavy traffic. Because of its static nature, it is unreliable, unpredictable, and noisy. The proposed system is the approach for traffic control. In the proposed system the image processing and IR sensors are used. IR sensors are installed at the roadside from where they detect vehicles and send results to Arduino UNO. On the other side, image processing is used to count vehicles by using camera surveillance and sends the result to the microcontroller through a serial port. Arduino UNO then analysis both the results and update green path time according to the traffic density on the road. Using technologies separately may have its disadvantages which can be overcome by considering a combination of both results for a better result. This method increases the accuracy and productivity of the system. Apart from this, the project gives prioritization to the emergency vehicles like fire trucks, ambulances. Also, this project saves basic information about vehicles, i.e. speed, vehicle colour, type, etc. This information can be used for further analysis, and as a result, it can forecast traffic congestion and road condition at various times. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
