In this paper, we present a system that automates payment using face recognition. It uses eye blink detection as its prime method. The system keeps a track on the duration of userâ€™s eye blink. Once the blink is detected, the system captures the face from the frame, which can be used as a template for face recognition. Once the face has been recognized, the money is debited from his account (wallet) . The system is more secure and convenient for users than the traditional methods of authentication. It can effectively block spoofing attempts using other peopleâ€™s still images or pre-recorded videos as there are no offline templates required for the functioning of the system.

AUTOMATIC PAYMENT USING FACERECOGNITION

Technology is growing rapidly day by day. In construction industry also, there are some techniques which helps to reduce the in-situ construction, Ferrocement is one of them. As thickness of ferrocement panels is relatively low, it easily tends to cracking failure. So, to reduce the chances of failure, use of fiber can be the better option. In this research, ferrocement panels with and without use of fiber are compared. In this research, Basalt fibers are used as a reinforcing material with wire mesh for ferrocement slabs. The main target of this study is comparative study of the behavior of plane Ferrocement panel and ferrocement panels with basalt fibres tested under low velocity impact with different drop heights as 0.5m and 1m. Panels used of size are 500mm×500mm with 15×15mm opening and varying thickness of 15mm, 20mm and 25mm with varying layers of mesh from 2 to 5. Comparison of ferrocement panels and basalt fibre reinforced ferrocement panels is studied out. Volume of basalt fibers was used as 0.5% of total volume of panel

Ferrocement Panels Under Impact Loading By Incorporating Basalt Fibres

Pune metro network is one of the major national projects in India. It aimed at developing an elevated andunderground transportation system to solve the severe traffic problems in Pune. The underground line includes 5 undergroundstations which are Shivajinagar, Civil court, Budhwar Peth, Mandai, Swargate and tunnels. The tunnel for Pune Metro Line 2 has acircular cross section of 5.8m internal diameter that consists of a precast segmental lining thickness of 0.275m. This reportpresents a parametric study on the effects of seismic waves on the tunnel structure through numerical modelling employing thefinite – element analysis. Full dynamic analyses were performed employing earthquake motion of maximum magnitude earthquakein Maharashtra which is Koyna earthquake in 1967 of 6.5 magnitude. The analysis of soil-structure interaction was done using thecommercial software Rocscience-RS2. The results proved that the 275 mm thick circular cross section can safely sustain theexpected static, dynamic and seismic stresses. This research work focuses on the behavior of Segmental lining used for the Punemetro tunnel under seismic loading. Detailed behavior of Pune metro tunnel, designing of Metro tunnel along with seismic loadingand its behavior have been studied. Finite element modelling by using software RS2 has been done for 6 cases.

Character Recognition using MODI script: Facts, Challenges and its future

Ferrocement is largely used material in today’s modern structural engineering technology. In this case study the main aim is to study flexural behavior of ferrocement by replacing cement content by 5%. In this study, 40 cubes were tested to get desirable compression strength results and engineering properties input data. Various test specimens in the form of ferrocement plate of sizes (400x200x15) mm, (500x200x20) mm, (600x200x25) mm, (800x200x30) mm and tested analytically with three-point loading with linearly varying load. Equivalent stress and deflection are the main parameters of this study. From the results, it can be concluded that 5%replacement of marble powder and increasing number of layers has proven to be good at increasing strength and reducing deflections.

This project includes the designing of 16-Bit RISC processor and modeling of its components using Verilog HDL. The processor is based on Harvard architecture. The instruction set adopted here is extremely simple that gives an insight into the kind of hardware which should be able to execute the set of instructions properly. Along with sequential and combinational building blocks of a processor such as adders and registers more complex blocks such as ALU and memories have been designed and simulated. The modeling of ALU which has been done in this project is fully structural starting from half adders. At the end the semi-custom layout has been developed for ALU. Complex blocks such as memories have been modeled using behavioral approach, whereas simple blocks such as adders have been done through structural approach. The tools which have been used throughout the project work are ModelSim and Intel Quartus prime 18.1. For synthesis purpose the targeted FPGA device technology is ALTERA.

Design and Implementation of 16 bit RISC Processor on FPGA

Traditional elections satisfy neither citizens nor political authorities in recent years. They are not fully secure since it is easy to attack votes. It threatens also privacy and transparency of voters. Additionally, it takes too much time to count the votes. Electronic voting (e-voting) is an electronic means for casting and counting votes. It is an efficient and cost-effective way of conducting a voting procedure. However, it’s been challenging to develop an online voting system that can satisfy the legal requirements of a democratic country. The main concerns are the security of networking and privacy of communication for e-voting have been grown. In this paper, an empirical review has been performed to understand issues faced by a voting system besides with Blockchain-based solution as a better alternative for providing a more transparent and error-free voting system. All the related papers are have been studied here along with an abstract view of the proposed system that we are going to implement. The proposed system provides high security to voter’s personal information using the IPFS decentralized file sharing platform.

DIABETIC EYE DISEASE DETECTION USING MACHINE LEARNING TECHNIQUES

Plant diseases are diseases that change or disrupt itsimportant functions. The reduction in the age at which a plantdies is the main danger of plant diseases. And farmers around theworld have to face the challenge of identifying and classifyingthese diseases and changing their treatments for each disease.This task becomes more difficult when they have to rely on nakedeyes to identify diseases due to the lack of proper financialresources. But with the widespread use of smartphones byfarmers and advances made in the field of deep learning,researchers around the world are trying to find a solution to thisproblem. Similarly, the purpose of this paper is to classify thesediseases using deep learning and localize them on their respectiveleaves.
