MINING SOCIAL NETWORKS FOR BUSINESS COMPETITION ANALYSIS

Fuel injection system is an indispensible part of thepresent day automobiles. The depletion of the fuels along withcontinuous surge in the fuel prices has made it imperative to usefuel economically and restricting the wastage to a minimum.Contrary to the carburetor, using predefined amount of fuelirrespective of the environment, Fuel Injection System uses justthe required amount of fuel based on the operating conditions assensed by the Engine Control Module (ECM). Numerousparameters are required to be sensed by the ECM to achieveoptimum efficiency of the engine. To handle the processing ofsuch large number of parameters, a robust architecture isrequired. This paper presents the design and implementation ofECM utilized in Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) system on a FieldProgrammable Gate Array. The ECM architecture discussed inthe proposed system is computationally efficient enough to fulfillever-increasing functionalities of the ECM. The main objective ofthis research is to sense the parameters required for the ECManalysis and to interpret and analyze this data and accordinglycontrol the solenoid (actuator). The CAN controller is alsodeployed in an FPGA to facilitate the communication betweenECM and Human Machine Interface (HMI) to indicate theparameters sensed by the sensor on the LCD. The target device(FPGA) for this work is Xilinx Spartan 3E and the design tool isXilinx ISE 14.7 with the ECM and CAN controller being modeledin Verilog Hardware Description Language (HDL).

FPGA Based Engine Control Module for Fuel Injection System

Oriented thin sections of garnet bearing metapellites belonging to the supracrustal sequence exposed near Sawantwadi taluka of Sindhudurg district of coastal Maharashtra have been studied in detail. The regional and meso-scale field investigations helped infer three ductile deformational events (D1, D2 and D3) in the study area giving rise to hook shaped folds (Type III interference pattern). The analysis of oriented thin sections, photomicrographic mosaics (manually prepared) and the stable mineral assemblages of garnet, biotite, muscovite, chlorite, quartz and some feldspar identified from thin sections indicate garnet zone of metamorphism for the metapellites. This analysis has also pointed out to the evolution of garnet from biotite by prograde metamorphism during the successive metamorphic events. Formation of biotite and chlorite from garnet by retrograde metamorphism at the end of third deformational event is also observed. A strong structural overprint and a complex deformation history is revealed by the analysis and synthesis of Macro-, Meso-and Micro-scale observations of the supracrustal rocks in the present study area. © 2019, Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology. Microstructural evolution of the garnet metapellites near Sawantwadi , Sindhudurg District , Maharashtra

Meditation can significantly contribute to improving physical and mental health in modern stressful life. "OM" mantra is very easy to practice for meditation.This study is undertaken to classify the EEG band to observe abrupt changes in band as an effect of Om mantra meditation. Twenty-three naive meditators were experimented to chant OM mantra for 30 min and EEG signal recorded before and after meditation. The stationary wavelet transform is used to exact five bands from the EEG. The different statistical features were calculated. SVM classifier with Radial Basis Kernel is employed to classify the band. Results show the significant changes in the delta band which represent the brain in deep sleep. Thus OM meditation gives the experience of deep sleep. Thus study can be helpful to give new direction towards the meditation. © 2019 IEEE.

SVM classification of EEG signal to analyze the effect of OM Mantra meditation on the brain

LiFi and Voice Based Indoor Navigation System for Visually Impaired People

Printed Circuit Board (PCB) is said to be the heart of the electronic automation system. Components of different sizes, shapes are used for assembling the PCB. With the advancements in the technology, complexity of PCBs has also increased and also number of components to be assembled on PCB is also increased. Missing components are to be verified before testing the operation of the system. Wrong component placement may cause complete failure of the system. Proposed system does the automatic inspection of the assembled PCB using image processing techniques. The proposed system uses image pre-processing techniques, image subtraction, and extraction of region properties to find defect in assembled PCB. This system detects multiple missing components as well as wrongly placed components. It provides ease in inspection of assembled PCB and provides accurate results. © 2019 IEEE.

Computer aided system for inspection of assembled PCB

Every day, big amounts of unstructured data is generated. This data is of the form of essays, research papers, speeches, patents, scholastic articles, book chapters etc. In today's world, it is very important to extract key patterns from huge text passages or verbal speeches. This paper proposes a novel method for summarizing multilingual vocal as well as written paragraphs and speeches, using semantic Knowledge Graphs. Using the proposed model, big text extracts or speeches can be summarized for better understanding and analysis. The method uses speech recognition as well as Named Entity Recognition to identify entities from spoken content to create optimized Knowledge Graphs in the English Language. © 2019 IEEE.

A Knowledge Graph Based Approach for Automatic Speech and Essay Summarization

In recent years Mobile Wireless Sensor Networks have observed a substantial increase in the use of specific applications like surveillance, military applications, disaster management, wildlife monitoring, etc. The wireless nodes are small electronic devices embedded with various sensors to perform the given tasks. These sensor nodes are provided with a limited battery power which is a big constraint for the performance of the network in unattended environments. Also, mobility affects the battery life of the nodes to a great extent. Thus, it is necessary to design protocols to make the efficient use of available energy in the nodes and to acquire complete operability. This problem can be solved to some extent by clustering of the sensor nodes. A Survey on Mobility Driven Clustering Techniques for Wireless Sensor Networks

The diesel generator sets are widely used in public areas and corporate buildings as electric source or backup. Hence it is necessary toreduce the noise produced by diesel engines of generator. Noise of diesel engine can be reduced by using muffler. Design and optimization of muffler isdone by providing perforations. Perforation design is optimized for maximum transmission loss by varying three factors, i.e. perforation diameter, porosityand length over which perforations are applied. For optimization, Taguchi method is used. Acoustic performance of muffler is estimated by commercialFEA software.
