In this study, an attempt was made to establish green energy from agricultural waste (orange peels). Activated carbon (AC) was produced from orange peels with chemical activation agent i.e. phosphoric acid (H3PO4) by the carbonization activation process. The influences of the process, carbonization temperature, and activation temperature (600°C) for time 2 h with H3PO4 of 1:1 ratio on the resulting activated carbon properties were evaluated. The AC is an excellent adsorbent and its applications are widely described in the literature. Prepared ACs are characterized by standard methods like XRD, SEM, FTIR, and XRF. XRD analysis is used to study the presence of a highly organized crystalline structure for AC. The surface chemical characteristics of activated carbons were determined by the FT-IR method. The microstructure of the produced activated carbons was examined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). XRF is used to study the different concentrations of inorganic elements present in the produced AC. The result also shows the presence of seven elements with their concentration. Thus present study adds one more bio-waste source as useful raw material for the preparation of AC.

Preparation and Characterization of Activated Carbon from Orange Peels

Polybenzoxazine/epoxy-fumed silica filled composites have been prepared by blending benzoxazine with epoxy (EP) in presence of fumed silica (FS). It has been observed that the thermal stability of the composites increased with increasing amount of fumed silica in the composite composition. Mechanical properties of the composites have been investigated by using tensile and flexural tests. Composites consist of 4 wt% fumed silica in the polymeric matrices, exhibited higher tensile and flexural strength than neat polybenzoxazine, epoxy and their polymeric metrics blend. Prepared composites possess better mechanical and thermal properties than the neat polymers, as well as easy processibilty which can make them good candidates to prepare of complex reinforced structures for various industrial applications.

Conflict Solving with the Use of Driver Distraction

Ferro cement is one of the structural materials, widely used because of its advantages of excellent behavior under flexural, and impact strength. Also it has excellent mechanical properties. A total of 6 types of panels were modeled for each grade of concrete i.e. M30, M40 and M50. The thickness of ferrocement panel considered is 20 mm and 30 mm. There are two type of fibres, Corrugated steel fibers and Hooked steel Fibers, and two types of meshes, Galvanized welded square mesh and Galvanized woven square mesh are used. High velocity impact and low velocity impact test is done on Ferro cement specimen. High velocity impact test is done by Ak-47 bullet and Parabellum bullet striking with a velocity of 300 m/s, 400 m/s, 500 m/s , 600 m/s and 700 m/s and low velocity impact test is done by dropping weight of 3.5kg from a height of 0.5m and 0.75m. All of this analysis is being performed on ANSYS Explicit Dynamics. Deformation, Equivalent Stress and Normal Stress of all the panels are evaluated and compared. It is concluded that when fibers are added in the mortar deformation due to impact loading is reduced and stress resistance of ferrocement panel is increased also when welded square mesh is used instead of woven mesh penetration depth reduces.

Behaviour of Ferrocement Panel Under Impact Loading

Recently there are a lot of advancements in healthcare technology. Amongst, Electronic Health Record (EHR) is an upcoming trend which stores patients’ demographics, lab tests & results, medical history, habits etc. collaborated in electronic form. EHR is huge data, which is difficult to maintain and retrieve. So the idea of health risk prediction is formulated in this work. To get the relevant data from EHR, feature selection technique is used. Feature selection is responsible to collect only important and needed data from the dataset. For feature selection regression method is used in which loss function is proposed due to which accuracy and performance of the model are increased. Further risk prediction is done using neural network model. Deep Neural Network (DNN) is best suited for pattern learning and prediction purpose. It consists of various layers which have their specific function. DNN uses transfer learning to avoid repeated training for the whole system. Dataset considered here is of hypertension. EHR data is also synthetically created for analysis.

The problems at the intersection of Computer Vision and the processing of natural language are of significant importance to challenging research questions and for the rich set of applications they enable. Given an input image and an open-ended question in natural language, it needs an understanding of visual elements contained in the image and common-sense knowledge to provide a useful response. In this review, we examine multiple approaches to this problem - where images and questions are mapped to a common feature space - along with the datasets available to train and evaluate these systems. Image Question answering :A Review

The recent engineering applications demand the use of tough, high intensity and high temperature resistant materials in technology, which evolved the need for newer and better finishing techniques. The conventional machining or finishing methods are not workable for the hard materials like carbides; ceramics, die steel. Magnetorheological fluid assisted finishing process is a new technique under development and becoming popular in this epoch. With the use of external magnetic field, the rheological properties of the MR fluid can be controlled for polishing the surfaces of components. An extended survey of the material removal mechanism and subsequent evolution of analytical MR models are necessary for raising the finishing operation of the MR fluid process. Understanding the influence of various process parameters on the process performance measures such as surface finish and material removal rate. The objective of this study is to do a comprehensive, critical and extensive review of various material removal models based on MR fluid in terms of experimental mechanism, finding the effects of process parameters, characterization and rheological properties of MR fluid. This paper deals with various advancements in MR fluid based process and its allied processes have been discussed in the making the developments in the future in these processes.

A REVIEW ON RECENT DEVELOPMENTS IN MAGNETORHEOLOGICAL FLUID BASED FINISHING PROCESSES

The rapid growth in the field of data analysis plays an important role in the healthcare research. Due to large amount of data growth in biomedical and healthcare field providing accurate analysis of medical data that has benefits from early detection, patient care, and community services. Previous system designed to analyze, manage and assimilate data produced by healthcare systems. Data analysis has been applied to help the disease-related information and treatment process. In this paper a decision tree is effectively used for predicting the outbreaks of diseases in society. The paper proposes to experiment with the modified predictive models with medical data which is related to the symptoms of the disease. For the disease prediction using unstructured data, we used a convolutional neural network which is based on multimodal disease risk prediction (CNN-MDRP) algorithm. Users can post their queries in order to seek information regarding diseases so that user get the proper answer to any kind of question and solving any problem related to the disease.

A Comparative Study on Various Encryption and Hashing Algorithms for Ranked Keyword Search over Encrypted Cloud Data

The rapid industrial and economic development in India leads to high level of pollution in environment. Due to increased level of aerosols oceans are warming. This paper highlights on aerosols effect on sea surface wind and sea surface temperature by using remote sensing data. The windplays important role in Aerosol Optical Depth (AOD) and radiative forcing and is analyzed using National Centers for Environmental Prediction (NCEP) monthly wind data. The radiative forcing observed is much higher and up to 60% of total AOD during summer monsoon. SeaSurface Temperature (SST) is another important parameter in ocean atmosphere system and a key variable in coupling the atmosphere and ocean. The SST has changed during the change of atmospheric pattern and it plays an important role in aerosols mechanism. The study observed that during summer monsoon SST over the South Eastern Tropical Indian Ocean (SETIO) much higher than Western Tropical Indian Ocean (WTIO) and it plays important role in aerosols mechanism.
