This paper aims at the possibility of charging the electric vehicles contactlessly using inductive coupling . Weare exploring a key enabling element that will overcome problem associated with charging of moving electricvehicles and which will successfully demonstrate the feasibility of contactless power transfer directly to vehiclescruising at highway speed, via magnetically-coupled resonating coils located in the roadbed and in the vehicles.This paper uses RFID technique for authentication of vehicles .Also two sources of energy for contactlesscharging which are inductive coupling and solar energy. This paper will contribute to overcoming a vitallimitation of existing electrical vehicles, by offering range at competitive costs in development of eco-friendlybus.

Styrene which is known to be one of the most expensive monomers is conventionally produced by dehydrogenation of ethyl benzene which generates a mixture of benzene, toluene and styrene. The separation of this tertiary mixture is done through two column distillation by first removing benzene from the first column and then separating toluene from styrene in the second column. The conventional distillation system consumes high-energy and yields low purity of toluene.Therefore to overcome these drawbacks we have proposed the use of a Divided Wall Column. In this work, we have designed a Divided wall column (DWC) for styrene production and compared it with the conventional method. By using DWC arrangement we achieved less energy consumption and higher purity of products compared to the conventional method. The simulation of the DWC was done using four column arrangement in Aspen Plus software. The results show that, energy consumed when divided wall column was considered is far less as compared to conventional system used in industry. With the application of DWC column, higher purity toluene was obtained (76.15 % to 96.00 %) and for styrene purity increased from 99.67 % to 99.99 %.

Optimization of Styrene Production Process using Divided Wall Column

In this paper we present a feasible Industrial Automation System in which ubiquitous power lines are mode of transmitting data over 220V/50Hz (440V/50Hz Also) to control the electrical devices. A power line communication modem is used in which FSK [Frequency shift keying] is used for modulating the signal. An Android device is connected to microcontroller via. Wi-Fi and this android device sends the data and in turn controls the devices. There are Multiple receivers which contain the power line modem can be connected through the power line to the devices.

According to eleventh five year plan, Construction industry is the second largest economic activity after agriculture. The impact caused to the environment by Indian construction industry is tremendous. Construction industry consumes high volume of raw materials and products. Building materials accounts of about almost half of overall material used as well as solid waste generated. This has major impact on environment starting from extraction of raw material to disposal at the end of structure’s life span. By considering latest scenario, where we have to concentrate more on environmental issues, construction and demolition (C&D) can be considered as a major recoverable material in life cycle process of structure. According to current figures in India out of 48 MT of total solid waste generated per annum (C&D) Waste is about 14.5 MT. According to few studies, out of all C&D) Waste almost 65% is waste concrete. So this waste concrete can be used as a better alternative for aggregate. This paper enlightens the importance of managing the construction waste by reusing it as a better substitute for aggregate in construction which will be one of the best approach to reduce burden of solid waste management as well as curtailing cost of construction.

Recycle Concrete Aggregates Go green Approach - For Sustainable Development

This paper describes electoral system which is completely automated, unbiased and online for easing the process of voting , increasing security and reducing the counting time The project is divided mainly into two section first one is voter registration phase of voter and second one is of actual voting phase on voting console. In voter registration phase the database of voter will be saved in repository which specifically contains voter’s unique identification number and finger prints information. Project contains biometric device which will verify the identity from the database saved in repository by the communication of Wi-Fi module i.e. esp8266 and if respective voter is identified then authorization will approve to that respective voter at the same time in other section of repository it updates the database of authorized voter to register voter is qualify to vote and to uniqueness ,also it will prevent the duplication and falsification of voter ;after getting authority from the repository voting enabling signal will send from VVB by using ZigBee to voting console for enabling voting for that particular voter , when voter votes then that vote will send to repository with the help of esp8266 and the voting console will be reset after the voting of each vote.

Innovative Technologies of Non-recyclable waste as replacement in transportation engineering

Adhesive bonding is widely used for sheet metal joining in automotive, marine, airplane, Space industries. Single lap joints are considered as a good category joint for sheet metals. The purpose of study was to find proper method of design, analysis and testing of single lap joint in various material and loading conditions. Here, study on single lap adhesive joint is to be done considering various factors which affect the loading capacity of single lap adhesive joint the structure of bonded parts is very important in order to obtained required strength different bonded areas can have different strength. And the strength of adhesive joint is also depends upon the surface roughness and its holding time. Study involve use of isotropic and orthotropic material as adherend same specimen size. Study gives some basis information about design of joint and FEA with using various analysis softwares to see the nature of changes in the joint. Validation of FE analysis will do using experimental testing of joint on Universal Testing Machine with study of surface roughness. Then possible results occurred due to different loading conditions are given for study. Adhesive joints compares with other fasteners taking its advantages and disadvantages in various applications.
