The treatment and disposal of oil field-produced water from pay zones presents a variety of issues for the hydrocarbon industry. Significant laboratory experimentation is carried out in this research program to design optimized dosages of oil field chemicals to design a water treatment plant for a thin stacked reservoir containing heavy viscous oil. When produced water is produced by pay zones containing heavy viscous oil, treatment can be difficult. For a better understanding of treatment procedures, chemical properties and physical properties of produced water are analysed. For re-injection of producing water to maintain reservoir pressure, the produced water must be compatible with the rheology of the reservoir under study. If the water leaving oil fields is untreated, it creates problems with injectivity loss and formation degradation, contaminating local groundwater resources and causing a significant environmental disaster. When significant amounts of oil field water is generated, the cost of water treatment chemicals rises dramatically. As a result, after examining the ionic concentration of generated water, this research effort recommends optimizing chemical dosing. Various filtration tests for effective rock fluid compatibility, include series, care, and coarse. The entire water treatment system was designed on prescribed treatment chemical dosages. The primary phase of generated water purification in this study relies heavily on the water treatment technologies of coagulation and flocculation. This processed oil field-produced water is ideal for Enhanced Oil Recovery such as Alkali Surfactant-Polymer flooding. © 2023 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

Dose optimization of oil field produced water and advanced water treatment for heavy viscous oil

Road infrastructure in India is growing speedily. Vision (2030) anticipates a quality, dependable, sustainable, resilient infrastructure, and sound technology. Road infrastructure can be built by using the sustainability concept. A conventional road causes environmental and social issues as well as affects the economy of road infrastructure. To overcome this problem sustainable planning is a very prominent solution. By reviewing research papers of the previous 30 years, life cycle cost analysis seems to be a key method for achieving required growth. Sustainable Project Planning of Road Infrastructure in India: A Review

The drag force acting on the vehicle has a significant role in the braking efficiency of the vehicle. The braking efficiency is directly proportional to the drag force acting on vehicle. Using add-on gadgets on the vehicle, the drag force can be enhanced. This paper deals with the effect of an additional air drag braking system on drag force of a passenger car. The drag force and drag coefficient of a passenger car is estimated by using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis. An increase in the drag force is observed to the attachment of an additional air drag braking system. In order to optimize the dimensions of the drag braking system for the highest drag force, Taguchi Optimisation is performed. It is found that optimized drag braking system improves the braking efficiency of passenger car. The experimental analysis is performed on a clay model of a passenger car with reduced scale 1:16 in a wind tunnel. It is found that the amount of braking effort is reduced significantly due to the application of this new concept, air drag braking system. The numerical analysis results appear to be in good agreement with those from experimental analysis. © 2022

Detecting Soil Fertility for Agriculture Land Using IOT and Prediction of Crops Using Machine Learning Algorithm

Vishnugad-Pipalkoti HE Project(444MW) is under construction on Ala-knanda River in Distt Chamoli, in the state of Uttarakhand. This Project will generate 444 MW Power by installing four turbines of 111MW each. The central feature of this project is its 13.5Km long headrace tunnel with an 8.8 m finished diameter. Out of its 13.5 km length,12.3 km is to be bored by using a double-shield TBM of 9.86 m diameter and the remaining 1.2 km to be bored with the help of DBM. The present authors want to highlight the issues and challenges faced during transportation and installation of the TBM and the universal geological surprises faced by the working team after starting the boring and the remedial measures adopted, therefore. The paper also discusses the analysis and design of the large-sized adit bored in the extremely poor rock conditions and the innovative measures undertaken for its construction. © 2023 The Author(s).

Construction of headrace tunnel of Vishnugad-Pipalkoti HE Project (444MW) in extreme geological conditions: Issues and challenges-A case study

In recent years, there has been a wide range of image manipulation identification challenges and an overview of image tampering detection and the relevance of applying deep learning models such as CNN and MobileNet for this purpose. The discussion then delves into the construction and setup of these models, which includes a block diagram as well as mathematical calculations for each layer. A literature study on Image tampering detection is also included in the discussion, comparing and contrasting various articles and their methodologies. The study then moves on to training and assessment datasets, such as the CASIA v2 dataset, and performance indicators like as accuracy and loss. Lastly, the performance characteristics of the MobileNet and CNN designs are compared. This work focuses on Image tampering detection using convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and the MobileNet architecture. We reviewed the MobileNet architecture's setup and block diagram, as well as its application to Image tampering detection. We also looked at significant literature on Image manipulation detection, such as major studies and their methodologies. Using the CASIA v2 dataset, we evaluated the performance of MobileNet and CNN architectures in terms of accuracy and loss. This paper offered an overview of the usage of deep learning and CNN architectures for image tampering detection and proved their accuracy in detecting manipulated images. © 2023 Baqiyatallah University of Medical Sciences. Lightweight MobileNet Model for Image Tempering Detection

23 Majority of hydropower projects in India are in Himalayas which has fragile geology being young mountain. Recent rapid land subsidence in Joshimath has underlined the need of monitoring and controlling the surface settlements in the influence zones of hydropower tunnels projects. In case of shallow overburden surface settlements will have greater impact. Design and construction of underground cavern in hydropower projects or crossover in metro tunnels involves fixing the size, layout and orientation of cavern or crossover, design of rock support, blasting pattern, excavation sequence, rock support, instrumentation etc. This paper discusses the challenges encountered during design & construction phases of shallow depth crossover NATM tunnel at Civil Court Station in Pune Metro project. It illustrates the way the problems of surface settlements due to tunnelling, heavy ground water ingress and natural big cavities partly filled with zeolites were handled successfully. The metro tunnels are designed and constructed at shallow depths for the convenience of the passengers. However, the construction of these shallow tunnels may lead to excessive settlement of the buildings and subsequent damages. Hence, the selection of alignment of tunnel and tunneling method in urban projects is crucial for the success of the underground metro project. The methodology adopted for construction crossover to control the surface settlements and heavy water ingress may be useful for construction powerhouse caverns. © 2023, Central Board of Irrigation and Power. 1Design and Construction of Scissor Crossover Tunnel in Pune Metro Project

The use of steel fiber in the recent past has offered distinct advantages over conventional reinforcement and its acceptance in the design of segmental lining of TBM tunnels has increased manifold. It has emerged as an alternative to traditional reinforcing bars for precast concrete tunnel segments. This paper presents an assessment of the technical viability of steel fiber-reinforced concrete (SFRC) in tunnel segmental linings in the recent past and its current practice in India. The paper discusses the typical information about the SFRC, its advantages, available specific guidelines, general design concept, description of material parameters, tests, and analyses required for the segmental lining design. An analysis of historical information about tunnels built with SFRC shows the typical geometry and reinforcement strategy used in the tunnel design. The paper also presents an assessment of the design approach adopted in one of the ongoing projects in India and discusses the outcome of the results. © 2023, Central Board of Irrigation and Power. Technical Viability Assessment of SFRC Lining Design in India

Nanotechnology opens up new possibilities for food innovation at an incredible rate, yet new technology needs evaluations of both potential negative impacts and numerous good effects. We aimed to cover some of the latest breakthroughs in nanotechnology and their application to food processing in this overview. Applications of nanoparticles in the food sector are growing rapidly. Nanoparticles (NPs) play a significant role in enhancing food quality by protection and preservation and are preferred over traditional preservatives. In this work on organic and inorganic nanoparticles in various forms such as single and multiple metal oxides, polymeric nanocomposite, nanocapsules, etc., as well as various methods of their preparations are discussed. Nanoparticles in food are currently most explored for their antimicrobial applications; factors affecting their antimicrobial potential, their antimicrobial mechanisms, and laboratory methods applied to evaluate antimicrobial potentials are also discussed. Various properties of NPs in relevance to antimicrobial activities and methods used for their characterization are also discussed. Antimicrobial NPs used for the purpose in various ways such as active packaging, mixed in food, incorporated in edible film and coating, etc. discussed. In the current state NPs used in the food industry, have various concerns such as safety, and regulatory policies relevant to preparing, processing, packaging, and consumption are discussed. NPs do possess some functional properties and harmful effects as well in this relevant future perspective of antimicrobial NPs in food and their other applications explored in current work. Various aspects of the most intensively studied NPs as an antimicrobial in food technology such as silver oxide, and zinc oxide, are discussed. © 2022

An overview of antimicrobial nanoparticles for food preservation

Image Security is playing a significant role in the field of communication system and Internet. Cryptography is initially developed to protect the interaction between two parties known as sender and receiver in the presence of malicious third parties called as attackers by using the process known as encryption. The given algorithm transforms the plain image into cipher image if the same key is used. The encryption is done by using various algorithm, transformation and many more techniques to secure the image. This article presents a novel image encryption technique. This AES algorithm is incredibly reliable and helps to maintain images safe from malicious attack. The sender has an image, and this image is split into several segments. After the encryption and decryption, the receiver merges those images. In the proposed system, keys will generate manually. This research paper presents an effective method for encrypting & decrypting data on the cloud. Through this method, users can store data securely in the cloud without being damaged or corrupted. This system has an idea about authentication. Receivers' digital signature is stored on the cloud to decrypt the image by generating digital signature that match with the stored one. If both signatures match, then it can be user verified and authenticated. © 2023 IEEE.
