The problem of cross-flow induced vibration of structures is important in many fields of engineering. Many experimental and numerical works is done in cross-flow induced vibration phenomenon considering different parameters. Many researchers have studied cross-flow induced vibration and suggested methods to damp the vibration or reduce the vibration amplitude by changing different parameters like orientation of the tube bundle, pitch over diameter ratio, surface roughness of the tube etc. Cross-flow induced vibration in cross flow of a flexible tube in tube array is studied experimentally, where the cylinder was loosely supported. Experiments were carried out on six tube banks for two different arrangements viz. inline and staggered arrangement. It is observed that with the increase in the velocity, the displacement of tube increases for both inline and staggered arrangement. As the pitch over diameter ratio increases, the displacement of the flexible tube goes on decreasing. It is also observed that the displacement of a flexible tube subjected to cross flow for staggered arrangement is more compared to inline arrangement for same tube spacing.

Android is free and open source, providing an easy-to-usedevelopment kit containing real time information update and facility to link websites. Agro Supply Chain will be anadvisory and information system for the farmers. Agro Supply Chain will be available on mobile phones, which will bedesigned for farmers to help them stay on track, avoid troubles, manage their expenses in cultivation, receive all thelatest and updated information, government schemes and strategies related to the field of agriculture along withsuppliers details for sugarcane. The advisory system will enable its users to receive real-time and interactive advicesand alerts on crop. Different alerts will be provided for plantation, insects, diseases and nutrition. Farmers will alsoreceive regular pest, disease alerts and market price information to support on-farm decision making.

Agriculture Supply Chain Management Based Android Application

The aim of study is to synthesize a biodiesel from soybean oil using ultrasonic process. At present, biodiesel is produced in batch reactors in which the required energy is provided by heating by mechanical mixing. Alternatively, ultrasonic processing is an effective way to attain required mixing providing the necessary activation energy. Ultrasonic is a very desirable tool for producing biodiesel from vegetable oil and animal fats, because it lowers the cost of processing, speeds up transesterification, does not require elevated temperatures, and produces a higher grade of biodiesel. The aspect considered in the research work is to develop and design a methodology for ultrasonic process. Hence, our main aim is to study the effect of ultrasonic irradiation on the production of biodiesel from soyabean oil with homogeneous catalysts (KOH). Different operational parameters affecting the biodiesel yield, including methanol/oil molar ratio, catalyst type and concentration, reaction time, and ultrasound pulsation rate were evaluated

Mobile ad-hoc network has no infrastructure, it is decentralized in nature and self configuring. MANET is dynamic that is each node can freely in any direction. Hence the main challenge in the MANET is to equip each device to maintain the information to equip the traffic. This paper evaluates analyze and compare various routing protocols in MANET like AODV, AOMDV, DSR, DSD. The simulation is carried out in ns2.35 under Unix platform. The performance metrics used for evaluation are packets delivery ratio, throughput and end-to-end delay. Keywords- AODV, DSDV, DSR, AOMDV, MANET, NS2.

Task Scheduling and Resource Allocation is an important phase in Project Management. Scheduling Problem in Software Projects is NP-complete and various algorithmic approaches have been studied to develop an optimal solution to generate a schedule, which will be cost effective, utilize resources effectively and meet the target deadline. This paper addresses the above problem in detail and reviews how Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) approach is being used for Resource Allocation and Task Scheduling. We attempt to propose a modified objective function to minimize cost, based on the rate card of employees in a company.

STUDY OF PROJECT SCHEDULING AND RESOURCE ALLOCATION USING ANT COLONY OPTIMIZATION

Monitoring is a key aspect of system administration. Looking inside a running server, obtaining some statistics or reconfiguring some aspects of an application are all daily administration tasks. The project gives the detailed analysis of the behavior and performance of Java Runtime Environment. It represents internal execution behavior of Java applications by event traces, where each event represents the occurrence of some activity, such as Memory allocated to different heap and non-heap areas, Garbage Collector activity, Loaded and unloaded class count for the JVM, Active thread count for the JVM. JTOR is constituted by three components: a monitoring agent which collects data from the monitored JVM using JMX; a data collector, which stores state snapshots in a database; and finally a display module that displays status of JVM.
