In Distributed Sensor Network congestion becomes a major problem. In case of congestion, system requires more power to deliver data. Congestion leads to indiscriminate dropping of data, i.e. Data of more importance might be dropped while others of less importance are delivered. The proposed system uses data prioritization. Advanced Congestion Aware Routing (A-CAR) is a priority aware routing protocol. A-CAR dynamically discovers the routing zone and enforces differentiated routing based on routing zone and data priority. High priority packets are routed inside the routing zone and low priority packets generated outside the routing zone uses off-routing zone nodes only for routing. In effect, routing zone nodes are dedicated to serving high priority data, thereby providing better service. A-MCAR (Advanced mobile congestion aware routing protocol) provides mobile and lightweight routing zones to address sensor networks with mobile HP data sources and/or bursty HP traffic. In A-MCAR as node moves ahead, nodes coming in the range of moving node changes to HP mode and the nodes out of the range are in LP mode. © 2014 IEEE.

Smart Antenna systems have become a practical reality after the advent of powerful, low cost and digital signal processing components. It is recognized as promising technologies for high user capacity in 3G wireless networks by effectively reducing multipath and co-channel interference. The capacity, data rates, null steering and coverage of the cellular system are improved by using beamforming techniques such as the Recursive Least Square (RLS) and Least Mean Square(LMS) algorithms. Through this beam-forming technique, a base station can form narrower beam toward user and nulls toward interfering users. This paper mainly focuses on Recursive Least Square and Least Mean Square beam-forming technique. Simulation is done in MATLAB and can be takeninto consideration, to obtain the desired beam in the lookup direction. RLS gives maximum directivity in desired direction but side lobe level is more.

Diagnosis for Structural Health of Rotor Dynamic Systems : a Review

Arrangement of tubes plays an important role in many engineering applications like in heat exchanger, radiator, evaporator, nuclear power plant and thermal power plant. Type of arrangement and tube spacing are decided on the basis of the Fluidelastic instability, but the phenomenon of vortex induced vibration is random in nature. Tube spacing also plays a critical role in different types of arrangement. Tube spacing differs for different type of application and the range of tube spacing vary is from 1 to 6. Vortex Induced Vibration in cross flow around the inline and staggered arrangement of the tube arrays is experimentally studied for varying P/d (tube spacing) ratio. It is observed that with the increase in the velocity, the amplitude displacement increases. As the pitch over diameter ratio is increased from 2 to 4, the amplitude displacement of the tube reduces. It is also observed that between inline and staggered arrangement, the amplitude displacement of staggered arrangement is more compared to inline arrangement for same tube spacing.
