In recent years, compressed natural gas (CNG) as a fuel for the automobile is overgrowing, as it is cheap and environmental friendly compared to gasoline and diesel fuel. To improve fuel efficiency, lightweight composite pressure vessel tanks are used for the storage of CNG. Due to high specific strength, fiber-reinforced composites are most widely used. Synthetic fibers like carbon, glass fiber are used for the fabrication of these pressure vessels. In the last few decades, due to environmental concerns, the hybridization of synthetic fiber with natural fiber has gained the attention of researchers. This paper focuses study on the effect of adding natural fiber on first ply failure (FPF) pressure based on the Tsai-Wu failure criterion. The laminate stacking sequence on first ply failure pressure for carbon/epoxy, E-glass/epoxy, and hybridization of these fibers with abaca fiber is studied. Abaca is strongest among other natural fibers as it contains high cellulose which is responsible for strength of the fiber. CNG tank with a 30-liter capacity, inside diameter 261mm, thickness 12 mm, applied pressure of 25 MPa with both ends closed is considered. Stacking sequence of symmetric laminate [(90)2/∓θ/(90)2]S, for different orientation of helical winding i.e. θ = 150,250,350,450,550,600,750 is analysed for these composite materials. A hybridtube made of synthetic and natural fiber with uniform thickness is considered. The simulation results of the first ply failure pressure are compared with theoretical results. Autodesk Helius Composite software is used for calculating material properties and, first, ply failure analysis. It is observed that burst pressure decreases as helical angle θ increases, and for the stacking sequence of [(90)2/∓150/(90)2]s burst pressure is maximum for all tubes. The Burst pressure of the hybridcarbon/Abaca tube reduces by 69.5% to 42%for winding angle between 150 to 450 compared to standard carbon tube. For hybridE-Glass/Abaca tube, burst pressure reduction was 21%to 4.7%for winding angle between 150 to 450 compared to standard E-Glass tube. For hybrid Carbon/Abacatube, the drop in burst pressure is less 23.7% to 1.74%,respectively, compared to carbon tube for helical angle in the range 550to 750.Slight improvement in burst pressure (1.14% to 7.5%) is observed for the helical angle between 550 to 750in the case of a hybrid E-Glass/Abacatu be compared to the E-Glass tube only. For the E-Glass tube, intermediate lamina can be replaced by Abaca fiber. Copyright © 2021 by ASME

First-Ply Failure Pressure of Symmetric Laminated Hybrid Composite CNG Tank

From2018 to 2024, the global hair extension market is projected to grow by 8%, reaching more than 5 billion. Hair care was the second-largest segment in the global beauty industry in 2017, accounting for 18% of total sales, after skincare. A big driver of this market is the need to enhance one's physical appearance which most of the times are affected by any hair loss diseases like cancer, alopecia, pregnancy, thyroid, and so on. Endorsing wigs and hair extensions is becoming increasingly common on social media. Specialty shops, hair salons and beauty stores, and hair clinics account for a large portion of the sale of hair wigs and extensions.Our System provides a unique analytical view for solving problems of customers by helping them choose amongst various brands of hair extensions. It does this by using the video's content to perform sentiment analysis rather than just focusing on public comments on the videos. It also performs statistical analysis and provides an overview about the best channels and influencers. To give a better decision base to customers, the paper focuses on providing content extraction of various YouTube videos covering fashion influencers' reviews as well as common people's reviews and for the investors, insights of market trends to judge its potential. © 2021 IEEE.

YouTube Content Analysis for Hair Extension's Business

With recent developments and benefits of electrochemical machining (ECM) such as No destruction of Tool, machining capabilities for complex shapes on difficult-to-cut materials and high machining efficiency at low cost has increased use in several manufacturing components (like in Turbine blades, Compressor blisk) mainly in the manufacture of aero-engine components. In this article, focus has been given on the key factors for machining super alloys such high temperature titanium alloys (BuRTi) used in aero-engines for electrochemical machining (ECM), Tool Materials used, Machining profiles and their influencing parameters (Voltage, Electrolyte concentration and frequency of tool vibration), hybrid methods of electro chemical machining. It is observed that a wide scope exists to focus on the developments in electrochemical machining ECM for machining titanium alloys for complex profiles, also to predict Anode shape and Dissolution characteristics of new advanced difficult-to cut materials. Overview on electro-chemical machining of super alloys

Robotic systems are known for their precision and accuracy. To achieve a desired set of operating parameters the system must have a good control system. Robotic arms can vary in size shape and purpose of use. With increasing DOF (Degree of Freedom) the complexity of the system increases and hence a DAQ system is required to check various parameters of the process. This paper discusses the implementation of kinematic and inverse kinematic modelling of a 6 Degree of Freedom (DOF) hydraulic arm in MATLAB environment. The forward kinematic model is based on Denavit-Hartenberg parameters. To obtain a given set of position and orientation of end effector, inverse kinematics gives the required set of joint angles. Potentiometers mounted on arm joint are used as the prime feedback elements for extracting the joint angles. All six joints of the arm are revolute joints. The values of potentiometer obtained are compared to the desired input values. Proportional direction control valve is the main controlling element of the hydraulic circuit. The forward and inverse kinematics is validated and implemented in MATLAB robotics toolbox (developed by Peter Croke). A GUI is also used to ease the process of retrieving and feeding the information in the system. The results of forward and inverse kinematics from MATLAB are verified by the physical model discussed in this paper. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Kinematic Modelling and Motion Mapping of Robotic Arms

The degradation of Rhodamine-B (RB) in aqueous solutions was investigated in this study under the influence of ultrasound irradiation (20 kHz) in the presence of titanium dioxide (TiO2) and niobium pentaoxide (Nb2O5) heterogeneous catalysts. The effects of different factors such as catalyst quantity (0.25, 0.5, 0.75, 1.0, 1.25 g/L), initial concentration of RB (10, 20, 30, 40, 50 ppm) and pH (3, 5, 7, 9, 11) were examined. The optimal catalyst dose was found to be 1.25 g/L of TiO2, Nb2O5and the maximum percentage of RB degradation was observed at pH 3 for the TiO2and Nb2O5catalysts. In the presence of TiO2and Nb2O5, the percentage degradation of RB under ultra-sonication in aqueous solutions is up to 85% and 81% respectively. © 2021 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

Covid-19 crossed all international, national, regional boundaries so declared as Pandemic across the globe. Since one and half year every country is struggling to deal with this disease either by using preventive measures like lockdown, sanitization or with cure measure like treatment, isolation etc. Most important preventive measure adopted by every country now is Vaccination. But due to confusion, uncertainty and lack of awareness people have different opinion and sentiment about the vaccination drive. There is a drastic requirement to understand the People's sentiments on the vaccine, which may vary for different regions. Especially when these sentiments became vocal on social media, it may create adverse impact on the Vaccination Drive. This paper discusses predictive analytics and visualization methods for analyzing and predicting the summarized sentiments using social media channel: twitter. This approach is useful to provide support the vaccination drive by spreading awareness about the vaccine in the region with extreme negative sentiments. Corona Vaccine related tweets are analyzed and classified using various classification techniques as Bernoulli Naïve Bayes, Linear SVC and Random Forest. Visualization techniques are discussed to showcase summarized sentiments region-wise. This approach is effective and useful for support for vaccination drive for Covid-19 spread prevention. © 2021 IEEE.

Understanding Sentiments on Corona Vaccine using Social Media Analysis

Dental implants have been a popular choice due to their increasing survival rate of implantation in the field of dentistry. The survival rate of implants is influenced by various parameters such as implant design, implant stability, osseointegration and fatigue life of the implant. Among these parameters, implant geometry plays a vital role. The design of implant neckwith and without micro-thread is an important consideration in implant design. Since the stresses developed along the implant-bone interface are concentrated near the implant neck, these stresses result into peri-implant bone loss. Hence, geometrical modifications of the implant neck design with and without micro-thread at neck region are being reviewed. In this paper, the effect of micro-threads on the implant neck for effective stress distribution at the interface region is studied by reviewing existing literature. Micro-threaded implants have been proven to increase bone growth, primary stability, the bone-implant contact percentage and provide better stress distribution. These implants also help in preserving the marginal bone as compared to the conventional implant neck designs. However, micro-threads may have certain disadvantages depending on the bone conditions and patient’s lifestyle habits. Hence, a few recommendations are enlisted to help select cases where micro-threads will prove to be useful.

An effect of micro-threaded design of implant neck on stress distribution to improve the survival rate of dental implants

The goal of any manufacturer is customer’s satisfaction this can be achieved by delivering the quality product, right on time at reasonable cost. Any organization whether manufacturing or service will survive and sustain the competency if it is flexible enough to continuously and systematically respond to the customers need and accordingly adds value to the product. Equipment, Material, and labour cost will increase with the inflation rate which are the dominant parameters that affect the price of the product. A simple mathematics, underutilization of equipment, material and labour is direct loss incurred. So, without any doubt the first focus of attention must be towards maximum utilization of this dominant parameters followed by reducing wastages in manufacturing activities. Lean manufacturing are now vital tools in all manufacturing sectors like automotive, electronics, plastic, textile, food, dairy, foundry, stampings, maintenance. The benefit observed after implementation of individual or combined lean manufacturing technique was reduction in cycle time, elimination of non-valued activities, clean, tidy, and hygienic workplace. Besides this there will be a smooth production flow, increase in productivity, reduction in production cost, involvement of employees, documentation of orders, reduction of inventory, breakdown with better intra and inter connectivity to take decisions fast and quick response. The present review focuses on different manufacturing sectors to see the effect of lean manufacturing techniques implemented for improving the process and reducing the wastages.

Lean manufacturing a vital tool to enhance productivity in manufacturing

Dental implant is used as restoration of lost tooth caused due to accidental injuries. When dental implant gets osseointegrated, it behaves in a manner like natural teeth as it is continuously acted upon by static and dynamic loads. The forces get transmitted during osseointegration are directed toward jawbone and they induce excessive stresses which may result in implant fracture and fatigue failure. The way in which stresses get transferred to jawbone via interface determine the survivalrate of implant. Therefore, it is important to study the stress concentration at bone-implant interface. Mechanical parameters like stiffness, porosity, mechanochemical parameters and biomechanical parameters like implant length, diameter, thread shape and geometry affect it. Hence, it is essential to optimize these functional parameters to lower the stress intensity at implant-bone interface and improve implant stability. This review paper concentrates on different approaches used in optimization and design of experiments (DoE) techniques to have minimum stress level at the interface. Optimization techniques referred are topology and shape optimization and in DoE techniques Analysis of Variance method (ANOVA), Taguchi method, Sensitivity analysis method are discussed mainly. DoE based implant thread profile optimization by response surface method is an important understand stress distribution along interface. While Taguchi method along with FE analysis is recommended for design of experiments approach where multi factors need to optimize with factorial design

Design of experiments (DoE) based optimization of dental implants: A review

A vertical-axis wind turbine (VAWT) is a type of wind turbine where the main rotor shaft is set transverse to the wind (but not necessarily vertically) while the main components are located at the base of the turbine. The performance of a Vertical Axis Wind Turbine (VAWT) is closely related to its Tip Speed Ratio (TSR). It is not easy to know beforehand which TSR will result in maximum power extracted from the VAWT. The objective is to model and simulate a 2D H-type VAWT in an open-source OpenFOAM CFD solver. The turbulence model used is k-Omega SST (Shear Stress Transport), and the rotating domain is set up using Arbitrary Mesh Interface (AMI) and dynamicMeshDict in OpenFOAM. Due to the transient nature of the simulation, pimpleFoam solver is used to simulate VAWT. Forces and Moments are reported after certain timesteps to obtain the torque Vs. Time curve for different TSRs. The simulation is carried out for different TSRs, and the graph of Coefficient of Power (Cp) Vs. TSR is plotted. It is found that the Cp first increases with an increase in TSR up to 0.35, and then Cp decreases. Such type of analyses can be used as a low-cost basis to obtain boundary and initial conditions or obtain baseline input parameters for 3D simulation of VAWTs.
