Due to rapid increase in data and lack of learning in education filed, students often halt selecting wrong universities. Thus, there is a need of recommendation system which is trained to understand the user’s requirements and suggests them that suitable university which they need. Typically, recommendation mechanisms are used based on user’s historical data. It helps the user to discover information and settle on right choices where they do not have the required learning to judge a specific item. The University Recommendation System for Higher Education

This article provides research on sleep apnoea. Sleep apnoea is a capable for suspending breath or frequently pausing in period of deep sleep. This symptoms may leads to an unappropriate death that makes it a critical sleeping disorder. Periods of apnoea generally lasts for five seconds or hardly a minute which affects the sleeping pattern due to breathing. This probably happens five times of an hour or even more. Obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA),central sleep apnoea (CSA) and mixed/complex sleep apnoea(MSA) are common three types of apnoea, where mixed/complex sleep apnoea is combination of other two apnoea. Airway obstruction is caused in OSA, while in CSA airway is not blocked, but the brain dosn’t sends proper signals to the muscles that cause instability of the respiratory center. The study includes the sleep disorders, types, cause, signs and symptoms and methods of Sleep Apnoea. Considering the study; it is very much required to detection of sleep apnoea using noninvasive techniques. Machine learning algorithms based detection of sleep apnoea is a feasible solution which provides more than 90% accuracy. The study surveys the similar techniques based on machine learning.

Sleep Apnoea Disorder A Review

Passive heat transfer augmentation techniques, where inserts are employed in the flow passage to enhance the heat transfer rate, are advantageous as compared to active techniques because the insert manufacturing process is simple and these techniques can be easily used in an existing heat exchanger. An experimental investigation has been done by using louvered rectangular leaf type inserts by inserting it inside the horizontal circular tube. These louvered rectangular leaf type inserts were made up of aluminum material at different angles i.e. 30°, 45°, 60°, 90° respectively. Air was used as a working fluid which was passed through the circular pipe. Heat transfer rate was investigated using these louvered rectangular leaf type inserts into a plain tube. The results were further compared with those of plain tube to analyse the improvement of the heat transfer rate in presence of these inserts. Reynolds number considered for experimentation is in the range of 6000–11,000. After experimentation, it has been observed that the maximum experimental value of ‘h’ is 37.2859 W/m2K for 90° leaf angle. Also, the maximum experimental value of the Nusselt Number is 33.7478. For horizontal tube containing louvered rectangular leaf type inserts inclined at 90°, the heat transfer rate was increased by 3.9%, 16.19%, 85.28% and 70.81% for the velocity reading of 4.3 m/s, 5.6 m/s, 6.3 m/s and 7.3 m/s respectively as compared to that of plain tube.

Experimental Analysis of Louvered Rectangular Leaf Type Inserts in a Circular Pipe to Enhance Heat Transfer CoefficientPipe to Enhance Heat Transfer Coefficient

Deep drawing is a manufacturing process in which sheet metal is progressively formed into a three-dimensional shape through the mechanical action of a punch forming the metal inside die. The flow of metal is complex mechanism. Pots, pans for cooking, containers, sinks, automobile body parts such as panels and gas tanks are among a few of the items manufactured by deep drawing. Uniform strain distribution in forming results in quality components. The predominant failure modes in sheet metal parts are springback, wrinkling and fracture. Fracture or necking occurs in a drawn part, which is under excessive tensile loading. The prediction and prevention of fracture depends on the design of tooling and selection of process parameters. Firefly algorithm is one of the nature inspired optimisation algorithms and is inspired by firefly's behaviour in nature. The proposed research work presents novel approach to optimise fracture in automotive component-tail cap. The optimisation problem has been defined to optimise fracture within the constraints of radius on die, radius on punch and blank holding force. Fire fly algorithm has been applied to find optimum process parameters. Numerical experimentation has been conducted to validate the results.

Optimising fracture in automotive tail cap by firefly algorithm

Dementia and its forms like Mild Cognitive Impairment and Alzheimer’s Disease are posing great defiance to societyclaiming many lives. Alzheimer’s Disease is the fifth leading cause of death in the world. The most frequently observed form of thisdementia is Alzheimer’s Disease. Diagnosis of this disease is a very tedious task for the doctors, which can lead to errors in thejudgment. This paper proposes multi-class classification by using MRI Images of subjects into 3 different classes such as Normal, MCI(Mild Cognitive Impairment) and Alzheimer’s Disease. The presented 3D CNN model can accurately classify Cognitive Normal patientsand also MCI (Mild Cognitive Impairment) which may morph into Alzheimer’s Disease to prevent the further disintegration andseverity of the patient’s condition. This paper also presents the comparative study of the performance of different Machine Learningmodels on the test diagnosis data of the subjects and suggests the most efficient approach to classify into 3 classes by data preprocessingand Hyperparameter optimization.

Aesthetics in Digital Photography: A Survey

PurposeThe paper is an attempt to evaluate the efficiency of passive control techniques such as base isolation system (e.g. Lead/Rubber Bearing) and fluid viscous dampers subjected to earthquake ground motions and underground blast-induced vibrations. Two moment-resisting steel frame buildings are analyzed to evaluate the structural responses under dynamic excitations. The effect of vertical irregularity on the performance of passive control techniques in mitigating the responses of the building is also studied.MethodsNon-linear dynamic analysis has been conducted on regular and irregular steel structures. The study investigates the effect of isolation period on the structural responses. The isolators are designed based on the design procedures developed by various researchers. The technical specifications of fluid viscous dampers have been selected from M/s Taylor Devices, USA.ResultsThe structural responses and energy dissipated by these control techniques is evaluated and a comparative study is also carried out amongst control techniques under blast and seismic excitations.ConclusionsBoth the selected passive control techniques have proved to be very effective in reducing the structural responses and forces induced in the building owing to ground-induced vibration.

Performance Evaluation of Moment-Resisting Steel Frame Buildings Under Seismic and Blast-Induced Vibrations

Wireless automation in electricity and billing is the new innovation in terms of technology. Retrieving the data of units consumedby the consumers is not efficient. The current process of electricity billing is susceptible to errors. It is time and resource and laborconsuming as well. The problem of the billing system becomes crucial when consumers try to tamper the meter, thereby pay less amountthan what actually should be paid. In our proposed system, already installed energy meters at our houses are not replaced, but an additionalsmall circuit design along with IoT on the already installed meters can change the existing meters into smart meters. Smart Electricity meterusing Internet of Things (IoT) system present an efficient and cost-effective way to transfer the information of energy consumed to theconsumer wirelessly and automatically without any human intervention, as well as it provides facilities to detect the illegal usage of theelectricity. Aim of this project is to calculate the electricity consumption, formulate the bill automatically without any labor and transfer itusing IoT. Bill amount is SMSed through IoT platform to the consumer at the start of every month with the help of RTC. Also, this studyaims to detect and control the energy theft. A passive infrared (IR) sensor is engaged with the system to detect when any illegal alterationhappens in the metering system. In such case, the system itself will notify it to the server, as well as it has the facility to disconnect and reconnectthe electricity supply automatically using a Solid-State Relay, also the power supply can be disconnected and reconnected remotelyin case of pending bills.
