The real-time acquisition and transmission system of agricultural drought data is researched. With the real time acquisition and analysis of agricultural drought data, it can effectively and accurately predict and analyze the agricultural drought data. It has great significance in increasing agricultural production and for promoting agricultural production. Based on Internet of things technology, the sensing layer is distributed in the agricultural infrastructures, real-time data acquisition is realized, the Network transmission layer is used to transmit the agricultural drought data and the Application layer is used to display the data from the sensors in the field.&nbsp;

Drought Detection using Internet of Things

To categorize the data reduces the access time. Nowadays, the Internet is one of the biggest data resources. However, most of the data on the Internet is written in natural language. To use the Internet more efficiently, it needs to be categorized. The amount of data and increment rate is so high that this process can not be done by hand. Hence, the necessity of automatic text categorization systems is increasing. In contrast to other languages, there is not much study on Turkish texts. In this study, a system is developed for automatic text categorization of news articles. The articles are classified into 5 different classes and 76% success ratio is achieved.

Abstract: Intrusion detection is a significant focus of research in the security of computer networks. This paper presents an analysis of the progress being made in the development of effective intrusion detection. Network security becomes more complex due to the changing environment of network and new type of attacks. So it is necessary to design dynamic system to detect new type of attacks. In this paper we define the solution to frequently changing network environment and new types of attacks. The designed system contains two models, Local model and Global model. In the local model, online Gaussian mixture models (GMMs) and online Adaboost processes are used as weak classifiers. A global detection model is constructed by combining the local parametric model. This combination is achieved by using an algorithm based on particle swarm optimization (PSO) and support vector machines (SVM). This system is able to detect new types of attacks. It gives high detection rate and low false alarm rate. Keywords: Adaboost; detection rate; false alarm rate; network intrusions; parameterized model.

INTRUSION DETECTION IN DYNAMIC DISTRIBUTED NETWORK USING MACHINE LEARNING BASED ALGORITHMS

Wireless Communication and Wireless Networking is the popular research in this era. The combination of this is useful method for one step ahead to increase the life of human being who are part of different lifecycle are senior citizen, teen rage and the youth on this world. The issue is to increase the growth of all this living mankind from different serious diseases so the technology and communication is BAN (Body Area Network) through wireless is Wireless Body Area Network. We do the research on the Data link layer of the stack protocol used in WBAN, so to increase the life of battery having the energy with some constraint because one’s the energy is utilized we cannot extend its energy only by replacing the battery so the main innovation for the research will to create the proposed protocol using existing MAC protocol performance so the total energy used for the data transmission should be minimized to increase the battery life. Transmission of data is in different condition may be in Normal, On-demand and Traffic which leads to consume more energy to overcome this there are different MAC protocol for performance in WBAN like S-MAC, Wise-MAC with IEEE 802.15.6 standard.

Performance of Medium Access Control Protocol in WBAN for Energy Conservation

In the field of program analysis, call graphs provide a succinct and human readable visual form of function flows in a program. Typically, call graphs are directed graphs, that determine the sequence of invocation of subroutines depicting the caller callee dependencies. This is used to tap the flow a program takes during execution, laying a foundation for further needful analysis. In this context, Call graph generators, taking a program as input, are typically used to generate call graphs. GNU Cflow, is one such tool. It accepts a C program or a number of C programs as input and generates a procedure flow, with clear caller-callee sequence distinguished by level indentation, with callee functions indented inside caller functions. This output can be altered by supplying different available flags and output-formatting options to suit the requirement. There is a lot of scope to revamp the Cflow source code and utilize the dispensed output. In this paper, we discuss the nature of cflow, its expected output, its limitations and scope for future research in it.

This project aims to develop an Asset Tracking System and specifically focuses on tracking migration patterns of birds found in and around the Indian subcontinent. The important challenges in developing such a system are reducing the size of the tracker, optimizing battery usage and tracking birds without recapturing them. The main aim of this system is to encourage crowd sourcing and lower the commercial cost for ornithologists and research purposes in academia. We plan to use RF medium for efficient data transmission (geolocation, temperature, speed, etc). This data can be analyzed and can be used by ornithologists for behavioral study of birds.

Migratory Birds Tracking System using RF as Communication Medium and Android Mobile Base Station

Document clustering has been implemented in innovative ways but has till date refrained from making better use of data and information which can be extracted from the World Wide Web. Most research is dependent on static databases like the well investigated Reuters-21578 news corpus for news articles categorization analysis. This paper presents the use of a dynamic news database which is obtained by using a web crawler and this database is updated daily. On the fly clustering is performed and categories are given as input by the user. To reduce the volume of text being analyzed and avoid misleading results preprocessing techniques has been used. To understand the context of the articles and categorize them further TF-IDF has been performed in this experiment.

The biggest challenge for knowledge management is how to make sure that right knowledge could be available to the right people on the right time for any purposes. Traditional search engines return relevant Web documents to keyword queries, where users have to read tedious documents to find the exact information they need. In collaborative environment where people work together with others to achieve a common goal, knowledge sharing plays a very important role. With the help of knowledge sharing one can get faster access to the information. But to find a person who can give the right knowledge is a challenging part due to variety of information needs. This proposed system finds an expert who provides a most relevant knowledge acquired by them to the user in collaborative environment. When the knowledge mining is integrated with expert search, the accuracy improves as compared to traditional methods. This knowledge sharing system helps to get the exact knowledge in less time and to save a lot of repeating efforts for the same task. Thus, it increases the performance of the system by using efficient techniques.

Expert Finding in Web Based Collaborative Knowledge Sharing Environment

Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks are a one form of wireless networks in which Road Side Units (RSU) and vehicles are the communicating nodes, providing each other with information such as traffic information and safety warning. They are self-distributed and organized. They can be useful in avoiding accidents and traffic congestion. Providing safety and comfort applications such as information about road block, fuel station, and traffic are main purposes of the VANET. VANETs are highly dynamic and energy constraint in nature, Due to this nature of VANET it is more challenging to achieve the security. Security and energy consumption are important issues in VANET. Previously data confidentiality can be achieved by AES algorithm in VANETs. But AES requires more energy for the process of encryption and decryption. This paper introduces A Light-Weight Energy Efficient Encryption Scheme for achieving security in energy efficient way. Transmission of data is not the only source of energy consumption there are many much like encryption and decryption. Light-Weight Energy Efficient Encryption scheme saves the energy in the process of encryption/decryption of data.
