Factors Influencing Behavioural Intentions Towards Investment in Cryptocurrency: A Study on Generation Z Female of India

The non-renewable resources are limited on this earth and will get exhausted if not utilized carefully. Ensuring the availability of these resources for future generations is the key philosophy of sustainable development (SD). To protect and preserve the environment, United Nations has proposed 17 sustainability development goals, which can be attained by coupling nature, human and technology. Among several technological disruptions, blockchain technology (BCT) has the huge potential to verify SD. The current study aims at analysis and synthesis of available studies on implication of BCT for SD, using systematic literature review methodology. Out of 17 SDGs only two goals, zero hunger (goal no. 2) and clean water and sanitation (goal no. 6), were considered for this study. The literature search criteria comprised of automatic and manual search, resulted into 484 studies. After examining inclusion and exclusion criteria, 52 usable studies were obtained. Descriptive analysis of 52 studies was done on the basis of publication year, source of publication, research type and sustainability dimension reported. Synthesis and analysis of these 52 studies addressed the following: implication of BCT for SD, identification of research themes and gaps in available studies and future research direction. When Sustainable Development Embraces Blockchain: A Systematic Literature Review

This work investigates the dynamic response of simply supported beam subjected to harmonic excitation by means of rotating unbalance. Passive viscous damper plays crucial role in controlling vibration response of system operating at resonance. Viscous damper containing CuO nanolubricants is used for suppressing the vibrations. Copper oxide (CuO) nanolubricants are prepared by two-stage process, which involves addition of CuO nanoparticles to lubricants and mixing by ultrasonication process for better dispersion stability. Orthogonal array technique is adopted for deciding set of experiments. Experiments are conducted at various speeds and nanoparticle concentrations. RMS acceleration values of the vibrating system are recorded for each experiment. Dynamic performance of the system is compared for various combinations of plain oil, nanolubricants and speed. Dynamic Response of Simply Supported Beam Carrying Rotating Unbalance and a Damper with CuO Nanolubricants

A lower extremity exoskeleton is device which can enhance the human strength and speed while walking and running. It mimics the human gait motion and enhance the endurance of human with help of actuators to carry heavy loads. It can help to carry heavy loads in rough terrain where a wheeled vehicle can't reach. The most prominent option for elderly people and people with walking disabilities such as paraplegia is to use a wheelchair, which is not convenient in every environment. A lower extremity exoskeleton with the particular purpose of either power augmentation or gait assistance can solve this problem. This paper discusses an overview on the historical developments in the field of exoskeleton type system along with the biomechanical considerations and the human gait cycle for the development of a lower extremity exoskeleton and analyses various parameters needed for the design of a lower limb exoskeleton system. The kinematic analysis of human lower limb is studied using Denavit-Hartenberg (DH) parameters. Furthermore, a comparison of the degrees of freedom and their ranges along with the actuators used in various exoskeleton developed is discussed. © 2023

Review of current developments in lower extremity exoskeleton systems

The micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are the backbone of Indian economy. MSMEs have significant contributions in the entrepreneurial activities in India. There is special focus on women-owned enterprises by Ministry of MSME with offering many schemes. The economic empowerment of women can be achieved through promoting micro and small-scale industries of women. This would also help in reducing poverty and gender inequality. The percentage of female population in India as per the 2011 census is 48.49%, and as per the MSME Ministry's Annual Report 2020-21, only 20% of the 63 million MSMEs in India are owned by women. India ranks a lowly 70th among 77 countries covered in the Female Entrepreneurship Index. It also has the third-highest gender gap in entrepreneurship across the world. Only 33% of early-stage entrepreneurs in India are women; male entrepreneurial activity rates exceed female entrepreneurial rates by 7%. © 2023, IGI Global.

Internet of Things (IOT) Based Assessment for Effective Monitoring Data Against Malicious Attacks on Financial Collectors

INTRODUCTION: Health insurance is one of the main non-life insurance sectors, which contributes nearly 29% of general insurance premium income. Almost every industry in the world has been affected by the COVID-19 outbreak and its associated lockdowns, including the Indian insurance industry, which makes a significant contribution to a nation's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and economic development. OBJECTIVES: This review of literature aims to critically evaluate the performance of Indian health insurance companies along with examining various opportunities and challenges during the time of COVID-19 pandemic. METHOD: The present study is a combination of both exploratory and descriptive literature review types and was entirely based on published secondary data. Literature searches were performed using Google Scholar, Research Gate, ProQuest, and Scopus databases for articles published between 2020 and 2022. The study also used various annual reports of the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI), the internet, newspaper articles, and company websites for the study. RESULTS: Even though there was a lack of literature on this topic, 19 articles were identified for review based on the keyword search that most closely matched the topic of the study. The study assesses the effectiveness of various Indian health insurance companies using four key metrics: gross health premium income, incurred claim ratio, number of policies issued or covered and amount of claim paid. Results of the study have shown that as more people get health insurance during the COVID-19 pandemic, there is a notable growth seen in the overall performance of the health insurance business. CONCLUSION: Health insurers faced both opportunities and challenges as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, including the imperative need to develop more customer-centric new products and services that enable them to provide a significant health insurance benefit to the large untapped population of the Indian market. © 2022 The authors.
