Vibha Patel has received her Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communication from Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Gujarat in 2008 and Master of Engineering in Electronics & Communication from Dharamsinh Desai University, Gujarat in 2010. She is pursuing PhD from Gujarat Technological University (GTU, Gujarat) in Electronics & Communication. Her research interests are in the area of next-generation wireless communications, cognitive radio, wireless 3G/4G cellular standards and CDMA/OFDM/MIMO wireless technologies.
She has total teaching experience of more than 7 years. She has published 4 papers in International conference and Journals. Since 2012, she has been working as an Assistant Professor at MIT College of Engineering, Pune. Prior to this, she has worked as a Lecturer in PE’s Modern College of Engineering (6 months), Pune and as an Assistant Professor in Hasmukh Goswami College of Engineering (1.9 years), Ahmedabad.She is member of IEEE and life member of ISTE.
She has participated in various workshops, conferences and other training activities. She has also worked on project TDMA based data logger, problem statement given by Aashay Measurements Pvt. Ltd. She has managed many responsibilities like Exam Coordinator, Member of NBA Committee Criteria 5, Class Teacher, Student Mentor, Guide to UG students and member of various technical and cultural events. She has also organized various training activities like Spoken Tutorial, Industrial Visits, Workshops and Guest Lectures for students.
