She has 23 years of teaching experience. She has received research funding for projects by BCUD; had completed two projects and one is ongoing. She has published 26 papers at national/international conferences/ journals. She has been invited to deliver expert lecture at Govt. Polytechnic, Pune, Cummins College of Engineering, Marathwada Mitra Mandal’s College of Engineering,Bharati Vidyapeeth’s College of Engineering for Women, Pune.

Pooja Gundewar is a Life Member of “The Indian Society For Technical Education”, Life member of “Instrument Society Of India”. She had worked as ROBOCON Instructor for three years. She had organized OPENCV workshop, MATLAB workshop, Spoken Tutorials, STTP on “Emerging Research Trends in Electronics, Telecommunication and allied fields”, PLC/SCADA workshop, AQUA Robotics workshop, STTP on, ‘Recent Trends in VLSI & Embedded Systems”” etc.

She has handled major administrative responsibilities like Active member of NBA Committee Criteria 5 ,member of NAAC Scrutiny committee, Joint alumni coordinator for alumni meet, placement coordinator, committee member for editing/updating HR manual of the institute, Senior Supervisor for SPPU Examinations , Member of Paper setting committee for UG and PG University of Pune , Lab In charge of Microprocessor lab, Project guide for UG and PG students , member of project review committee, Class Teacher, Student Mentor, Committee member for various technical and cultural events.

She has received Ideal Teacher Award on Friday, 5th September 2014 by the auspicious hands of Prof. Dr. V.D. Karad, Founder, MAEER’s MIT, Dr. Shubro Sen, Director, Tata Management Training Centre, Pune, Prof. Dr. M.T.
