This paper proposes an innovative idea for segmenting a video sequence including vigorous textures in transform domain. The advanced mode is based on the contourlet transform. This transform method agreed to re-evaluate spatiotemporal structures for a given level and inclination. All advances examine and compare multi-scale dissolution to recognize dynamic texture in image sequences and then intend a simple efficient approach to dynamic texture segmentation using contourlet transform with measures to find the vibratory attribute. So it is competent to specify the traffic of an image sequence by calculating the parameters. The observation that, for objects that generally travel, it is normally easier to see them when they are moving than when they are stationary. However when there will be more traffic crowd, it is difficult to find the task features. The segmentation proficiency is well applied on video sequence of dynamic texture and also traffic classification is done by measuring the parameter. Future prospects are finally discussed. © 2015 IEEE.

Traffic Video Surveillance Using Contourlet Transform

Permanent environmental damage cannot be compensated in terms of money. Unfortunately, oil spills contaminate water, restraining marine species of their habitat and food supply. Despite the numerous methods available today to clean up the water body by separation of oil and water, none have restored water to its previous quality or saved marine animals from its deleterious effects to the full extent. The biggest hurdle to this cause is the sunken oil; the oil which may have either sunken mixed with sand and mud or by dispersion due to weathering. Mechanical containment with recovery and use of dispersants will always be the most widely used response option for surface clean up due to its capability to directly remove oil from environment till today. Another spill response tool is In situ burning which is under study from several decades. Efforts are being made to enhance In situ burning such as Aerial Ignition System (AIS) and Chemical Herders. Although it is expected that this oil will float right up due to the density difference and cleaning will hence be easy, this is not always the case. The authors suggest the most effective workflow to clean up surface oil in marine oil spills as well as a way to tackle the sunken oil droplets. Choosing of an effective clean up method should always start with determining the amount of oil, density of oil, type of oil (crude or refined), salinity of water and the weather conditions. The authors thus propose an arrangement for real time tracking and mapping of an oil spill and then using most effective modern cleanup methods like booms, in situ burning, dispersants and skimmers followed by the use of polymer coated ferromagnetic nano particles to clean up sunken oil droplets. Magnetic nanoparticles are non-toxic nano sized sponges that sink deep inside the water body, absorb 10 times their weight of oil and float back up on the surface. Experiments with two samples of oil were conducted to check the effectiveness of ferrous nanoparticles in attracting oil out of water in various concentrations of nanoparticles to find the optimum level. Effective workflow to clean-up oil spill using ferromagnetic nano-particles

Cloud Computing is one of the large and essential environment now a days to work for the storage collection and privacy preserve to that data. Cloud data security is most important and major concern for the client while use of the cloud services provided by the different service providers. There can be some major security concern and conflicts between the client and the service provider. To get out from those issues, a third party auditor uses as an auditor for assurance of data in the environment. Storage systems for the cloud has many fundamental challenges still today. All basic as well critical challenges among which storage space and security is generally the top concern in the cloud environment. To give the appropriate security issues we have proposed third party authentication system. The cloud not only for the simplified data storage but also secure data acquisition in cloud environment. At last we have perform different security analysis as well performance analysis. It give the results that proposed scheme has significant increases in efficiency for maintaining highly secure data storage and acquisition. Cost and Communication Efficient Auditing over Public Cloud

Real-time quantitative PCR (qPCR) protocols specific to the reductive dehalogenase (RDase) genes vcrA, bvcA, and tceA are commonly used to quantify Dehalococcoides spp. in groundwater from chlorinated solvent-contaminated sites. In this study, loopmediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) was developed as an alternative approach for the quantification of these genes. LAMP does not require a real-time thermal cycler (i.e., amplification is isothermal), allowing the method to be performed using less-expensive and potentially field-deployable detection devices. Six LAMP primers were designed for each of three RDase genes (vcrA, bvcA, and tceA) using Primer Explorer V4. The LAMP assays were compared to conventional qPCR approaches using plasmid standards, two commercially available bioaugmentation cultures, KB-1 and SDC-9 (both contain Dehalococcoides species). DNA was extracted over a growth cycle from KB-1 and SDC-9 cultures amended with trichloroethene and vinyl chloride, respectively. All three genes were quantified for KB-1, whereas only vcrA was quantified for SDC-9. A comparison of LAMP and qPCR using standard plasmids indicated that quantification results were similar over a large range of gene concentrations. In addition, the quantitative increase in gene concentrations over one growth cycle of KB-1 and SDC-9 using LAMP was comparable to that of qPCR. The developed LAMP assays for vcrA and tceA genes were validated by comparing quantification on the Gene-Z handheld platform and a real-time thermal cycler using DNA isolated from eight groundwater samples obtained from an SDC-9-bioaugmented site (Tulsa, OK). These assays will be particularly useful at sites subject to bioaugmentation with these two commonly used Dehalococcoides species-containing cultures. © 2016, American Society for Microbiology. Loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) for rapid detection and quantification of Dehalococcoides biomarker genes in commercial reductive dechlorinating cultures KB-1 and SDC-9

In this paper, we propose a method for detecting moving objects in a video stream. Initially four existing methods, Basic Background Subtraction (BSS), Frame Differencing (FD), Adaptive Background Subtraction (ABS) and Background Subtraction Frame Differencing (BSFD) are evaluated for low resolution action recognition videos. Focus of this paper is on low resolution videos as most of the time CCTV recordings of the public areas are of low resolution. Recognizing an action performed by a human being in such a video is a challenging task. Videos recorded with various view angles are used for testing to evaluate view invariance property of algorithms. Concept of three frame differencing method is used along with adaptive background in an Adaptive Background subtraction and Frame Differencing (ABSFD) method proposed in this paper. A dynamic background image is used to detect the moving object. Background is updated with small constant value to accommodate minute changes in background. The proposed algorithm gives consistent results for videos recorded at different view angles. The experimental results show that this algorithm can detect moving objects successfully with precision above 95% in most of the test cases. © 2016 Institution of Engineering and Technology. Evaluation of moving object detection techniques for low resolution videos

Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) technology is most upcoming in automobile industries, to reduce the pollution and fuel consumption. Lead acid batteries are mostly used in the automobile industries, because of its high efficiency and low cost. However a major problem can arise in the lead-acid battery is sulfation, which occurs because of improper charging and discharging. Sulfation is a chemical reaction that happened inside the lead-acid batteries but it can reconstruct without chemical experiment. The main intension of this proposed work is to develop a Battry Management system for (HEV), to increase life of battery. In the proposed work , lead-acid battery is coupled with the ultracapacitor along with an intelligent controller scheme. For controlling charging and discharging of battery a pulse width modulation (PWM) technique used along with a fuzzy controller. The parameter considered in the control scheme are temperature, voltage, current etc., based on this the pulse signal will be generated. The overall proposed system can enhance the life time of the lead-acid battery. From this work we obtained a well suitable solution for battery management system for the HEV, which can enhance the battery life.The proposed system is implemented and verified using Matlab/Simulink platform. © 2016 IEEE.

Lead-acid battery for HEV using fuzzy controller and ultracapacitor

Mammography is the most widely used tool for the early detection of breast cancer. Computerbasedalgorithms can be developed to improve diagnostic information in mammograms and assist the radiologistto improve diagnostic accuracy. In this paper, we propose a novel computer aided technique to classifyabnormalities in mammograms using fusion of local and global features. The objective of this work is to test theeffectiveness of combined use of local and global features in detecting abnormalities in mammograms. Localfeatures used in the system are Chebyshev moments and Haralick’s gray level co-occurrence matrix basedtexture features. Global features used are Laws texture energy measures, Gabor based texture energy measuresand fractal dimension. All types of abnormalities namely clusters of microcalcifications, circumscribed masses,spiculated masses, architectural distortions and ill-defined masses are considered. A support vector machineclassifier is designed to classify the samples into abnormal and normal classes. It is observed that combined useof local and global features has improved classification accuracy from 88.75% to 93.17%.

Fusion of Local and Global Features for Classification of Abnormality in Mammograms

Stereo vision has usefulness in many applications like 3D scene reconstruction, robot navigation, etc. The disparity between two original stereo images and depth maps are calculated to find the depth levels. An algorithm to generate disparity maps using SIMULINK tool is presented in this paper. The disparity map was first obtained by using MATLAB tool. The objective of the present work is to generate depth map using SIMULINK tool. The SIMULINK model used to obtain depth map dataset images is presented. © 2016 IEEE.

Depth map estimation using SIMULINK tool

To meet the demand for low data rate, low power and cost-effective wireless communication IEEE 802.15.4 has grown its popularity. As it has low power it is potentially susceptible to interference by other wireless technologies with much higher power that also works in the same 2.4 GHz ISM band such as IEEE 802.11 standard, Bluetooth, and microwave. IEEE 802.11 standard operate random file transfer and wide deployment of Wi-Fi devices degrades the performance of IEEE 802.15.4 seriously. For WSN development strategy like changing channel, increasing transmission power and CSMA backoff, to act accordingly to the interference, information about the adjacency and impact of interference is necessary. The work reported aims at analyzing the performance of IEEE 802.15.4 under such kind of interferences. Firstly, the distance between the interferer and the WSN nodes is varied and the performance is analyzed. In the later part, the interference of the interferer is varied to analyze the impact of interference on communication. The results are compared and tell that how important is the proper design of networks for reliable communication of various technologies and to avoid degradation of the performance of IEEE 802.15.4.

Dynamic performance analysis of IEEE 802.15. 4 devices under various RF interferences

Electrostatic Precipitator is air pollution control equipment which separates the dust particles from flue gases. It is basically used for boiler applications. Dust is collected on collecting electrodes and gets separated by of excitation of collecting plates. The excitation is nothing but the vibrating collecting electrodes from its mean position by means of rapping system. Time is another major constraint for checking of such continuous improvements. So analysis and further actual measurement is more practical method. This paper presents FEA concept of modeling using CATIA V5 and analysis of collecting electrodes of ESP by Modal analysis for getting natural frequency and Harmonic analysis for getting acceleration of plates.
