Dr. Mangesh V. Bedekar received his Ph.D in Computer Science and Engineering from BITS Pilani, India. Prior to the Ph.D. program, he graduated from SSGMCE, Shegaon and did his Masters from BITS Pilani. At MIT-WPU, he is the Professor in the School of Computer Engineering and Technology. His primary research interests include Web Data Mining, Web Personalization, User Interface Design, User Interface Improvements, Browser Customization, Affective Computing and Information Visualization. Over the years he has supervised numerous bachelors and masters students. He has many national and international publications to his credit. Along with his academic interest Dr. Bedekar is also a outdoors enthusiast. He is a certified First-Aider and regularly goes for hikes and trekking.
