Dr. Sharmishta Desai has over 19 years of experience in teaching and has been associated with MITWPU for more than 15 years. She has extensive expertise in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, and Android. Her innovative contribution during the COVID-19 pandemic, "Wristband Sanitizer: Indipro", has been widely recognized by ICMR and the Prime Minister's Office. In 2019, she was honored with the prestigious Ideal Teacher Award from MIT. Dr. Desai has also secured multiple research grants and consultancy projects, adding to her credit as a versatile academician.
