Objectives: This study was conducted to identify Quality of Service parameters used in network. Different reliability types and performance metrics needed to predict reliability in wireless sensor network. Methods/Analysis: Sectoring scheme can be used for partitioning of network into different sectors. This scheme is used to improve reliability in wireless sensor network. Findings: In existing method various clustering algorithms are used for partitioning of network. Clustering consists of position of cluster head and if it far away from the sink in large network, the cluster node utilizes more energy. Therefore, for WSNs, it is especially vital to intend an algorithm to divide sensors in sectors to maximize the reliability (packet) and minimize the energy consumption apply for transformation of information from the sensor nodes to the base station i.e., sink node. Application/Improvement: Sectoring scheme is unique method used to acquire more packet delivery ratio i.e., the reliability of a sensor based network. To achieve reliability, different factors need to be considered for network review like number of sectors, angle between two sectors, packet size, node density, MAC protocols and Routing protocols.

A survey on reliability in wireless sensor networkV

Reserves estimation is one of the most essentialtasks in the petroleum industry. It is the process by which theeconomically recoverable hydrocarbons in a field, area, orregion are evaluated quantitatively. A major goal in thisinitiative is preparation of training modules that representindustry’s “recommended practices.” Long before the issuecaught the public’s attention, how- ever, reserves estimationwas a challenge for the industry. The challenge stems frommany factors, tangible and intangible, that enter theestimation process, and judgment is an integral part of theprocess. Uncertainty, along with risk, is an endemic problemthat must be addressed. Consequently,the industry’s record ofproperly predicting reserves has been mixed. Despite appealsfrom some quarters, there currently is no standardizedreserves-estimation procedure.

Reserve Estimation using Volumetric Method

Many machine learning softwares are available which help the researchers to accomplish various tasks. These software packages have various conventional algorithms which perform well if the training and test data are independent and identically distributed. However, this might not be the case in the real world. The training data may not be available at one time. In the case of neural networks, the architecture has to be retrained with new data that are made available subsequently. In this paper, we present a novel training algorithm which can avoid complete retraining of any neural network architecture meant for visual pattern recognition. To show the utility of the algorithm, we have investigated the performance of convolutional neural network (CNN) architecture for a face recognition task under transfer learning. The proposed training algorithm may be used for enhancing the utility of machine learning software by providing researchers with an approach that can reduce the training time under transfer learning.

A Novel Training Algorithm for Convolutional Neural Network

Column is the one of the most critical structural element requiring high level of care while designing. It has to carry the axial compressive load and resist moment due to eccentric loading. The following study is about Ferrocement Jacketed Column (FJC) and concrete filled tubular column (CFT) that are recently being adopted due to their various advantages over traditional column sections. In this study, a total of 20 sections of short column sections having circular and square cross section with pure confinement are experimentally tested to obtain the ultimate load carrying capacity of the short column for M40 grade concrete. The section is designed such that the core of the section is 10mm outside the confinement at the top and bottom so as to not load the ferrocement tube or steel tube longitudinally. The sections are to be tested using Universal Testing Machine. The experimental values are compared with the numerically found valued of compressive strength in each section. Also the strain increase due to confinement is analyzed. It was observed that the circular tubes provided more effective confinement as compared to square tubes. The confinement effect was higher for material with higher tensile strength and provided greater increase in load carrying capacity. The strain increase was of the order of 6 to 9 times strain of plain concrete at yield.

Behavior of Columns with Ferro cement and Steel Tube Confinement under Axial Compression

The present study describes the results of testing flat ferrocement panels reinforced with different numbers of woven mesh layers and three different types of steel fiber, for the mix that replaces river sand with crush sand. The main objective of this work is to study the effect of using woven wire mesh as reinforcement along with different types of steel fibers on the ultimate flexural strength of ferrocast panels. The number of layers used were minimum of 2. Panels were casted with mortar mix ratio (1:1.5) and water cement ratio (0.4) including super plasticizer ( Perma Ps-34 ) with dosage of 1.5% by weight of cement. Panels were tested under two point loading system under UTM machine after curing period of 28 days. Test results shows that panels combined with hooked end fibres exhibits greater flexural strength and less deflection as that compared with panels having less mesh layers and other steel fibers. The energy absorption of these panels were also studied through impact test. The results showed that the addition of fibers increased the first crack load and ultimate failure load for all types of fibres.

Effect of Different Types of Fibers on the Flexural Strength of Ferrocement Panels

The aim of this paper is to design a wearable air pollution mapping system for an individual. For this itincludes interfacing some pollution related sensors (CO2, CO and dust sensor) to the user’s body which will constantlymonitor the surrounding air pollution levels and calculate the exact amount of toxic gases inhaled by the userdepending upon the breathing rate of the user. Depending upon these values, the user will be alerted in real time byshowing warnings where pollution level has surpassed the permissible limits. The data will be preserved and lateranalyzed using graphs and diagrams prepared in Excel using Visual Basic. The data analysis will provide the user withhealth prediction i.e. probability of immediate or long term health effects of various poisonous gases or pollutants.

Personal Pollution Exposure Estimates using Pollution Sensors and Health Prediction

Due to the ability of providing access the data anywhere and anytime all over the globe the cloud computing is becomingtrend in IT industry. As an accomplishment in flexibility of data the problem gets with safety as in term of data security and privacy.Cloud is being straightforward still considered as interested in the client data. To solve above problems in cloud, blind storage techniqueswith searchable encryption is used. For keyword extraction system propose a new CRF method. Utilization of Cosine similarity algorithmas replacement for Euclidean distance algorithm is done. Cosine Similarity algorithm is used for calculating the similarity betweendocuments and Conditional Random Field (CRF) for finding the important keywords. The indexes of the blocks are kept which arecreated by dividing the files in various parts by blind storage. These indexes are not visible to cloud provider by which the cloud provideris totally unaware of data. By analysis we shows that the derived results are improved as well as those are meaningful of keywordminimizing the traffic in overall network and hence server provides more specific application productivity.

A Secure Multi-Keyword Ranked Search by Using Conditional Random Field and Blind Storage over Encrypted Mobile Cloud Data

In the whole world concrete is mostly used in mass quantity for a construction. It is expected that in the near future, the civil engineering community will have to produce structures in harmony with the concept of sustainable development. A number of studies have been carried out to investigate the possibility of utilizing a broad range of materials as partial replacement material for cement in the production of concrete using various different materials like fly ash, silica flume, GGBS etc. Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete or (GFRC) is a composite that has glass fibers instead of steel strands for its reinforcement. AR Glass Fibers are designed specifically for use in concrete.It is found that by the partial replacement of cement and glass fiber with effect of magnetic water helped in improving the strength of the concrete sustainably compared to normal mix concrete. The OPC is responsible for the majority of the embodied carbon content of concrete. Significant reductions in environmental impacts occur for GGBS.The present study investigates the effects on compressive strength of concrete of 50 % cement replacement with granulated ground blast furnace slag using alkali resistant glass fibers with varying percentage i.e. 0.2%, 0.3%, 0.4% & 0.5% respectively for 7 days and 28 curing days and effect of magnetic water used in mixing and curing concrete and compare the results with different percentage of fibers and curing days. Twenty mixes were tested and studied with different percentage of glass fiber with and without effect of magnetic water. Among the mixes the mix with replacement of 50% GGBS and 0.3% of AR glass fiber is better with respect to strength.

The objective of this study is to identify the market value of Agriculture land and guidelines to follow the calculation for land which is situated in semi urban and rural area of Chhattisgarh, India. This study helps to property owners, farmers to know the actual condition of land and future scope of the land. The valuation of agricultural land helps to plan the future growth of the city, approach to the city and improve the present condition of land.

A survey of Valuation of immovable properties-agricultural land

As the foundries are primary suppliers to the manufacturing industries like automobile, Pumps, transport, heavy equipment, machine tools, plant machinery, machines, households, aerospace, defence. Although lots of research has been carried out in foundry technology, yet achieving higher casting yield with the sound casting (defect free casting) is major challenge to the manufacturers. For obtaining high quality of casting which is a customer prime requirement manufacturers are making compromise with the casting yield. Which results into the increases production cost and decreases profit. In the research pump cover casting is analyzed which is associated with the various defects. Defective casting results due to improperly designed gating system and risers. For eliminating the defects the gating system components such as sprue , sprue well ,ingates and risers are redesigned using the feeding rules , gating design procedure, theoretical knowledge , practical considerations and casting simulation results . The various designs of the gating system components are made and 3D CAD model of each design is made and analyzed using casting simulation software AutoCASTX flow plus. After analyzing the simulation results if required goal is not achieved, then the respective changes are made in design and 3D CAD model and it is again simulated. The procedure is repeated until the required results are obtained. Finally redesigned gating system and risers are used to achieve sound casting i.e. defect free casting.
